Return of the King of the Cafe!
Jan's right, in fact, Rico's thread really concerns all the major factions, since each trial takes place on a planet of someone else's possession.

Demosthenes X:Although I have chosen to proceed for now, this particular line irks me.
Your failure to provide any real sort of RP gives me room to exploit that.
I wrote an RP, the RP detailed most of the key points of Panacea. Indeed, only the most anal and demanding standard would find it incredibly lacking in any respect.
And for the record, the last couple lines implies extra work is done.
Anyways, I have chosen to proceed with everything you've said in mind, although I will hold it to you in the future.

I probably shouldn't butt in but... I don't see how anyone has any right to control Dolash's creation.
Dolash, you should take a stand for once or they'll always keep doing this to you.

No, that's all right, if Drayson wants to set a precedent, that's his business. Of course, I'll take what he said into account as this situation progresses.

fuck that duck
Ahnk: Dolash has, IC, released Panacea for anyone to use. So I don't need to 'steal it'. It is, certainly, a move to reverse engineer it. The thread is also in progress.

Uh, pardon me, but are you aware of the effect running an ionized electrical field over a living, carbon based life form would have?

Imperial Observer
Yup. I thought I had made it clear they (tried) to make it non-lethal... I considered that given the size of Panacea, a very low level field would eliminate it with minimal harm to the body.
That being said, I'm no engineer, and I could be far wrong in that regard.

This is a good time because Kas is so up-tight you could stick a coal up his ass and in two weeks you would have a diamond.

Return of the King of the Cafe!
To be fair, if it does hurt, I believe the Empire could justify it with the fact that they don't care.

Smells Of Tibanna Gas
I suppose. :p
Trinity: The average human being is made of about 70% water, 15% carbon, and trace elements. Carbon and water are both excellent conductors of electricity, thus allowing even a low level current to be potentially fatal. A low level pulse, while not causing an electric chair like jerk, spasm, and steam from being cooked alive type effect, could cause (or further aggravate) a cardiac or respiratory arrhythmia. You'd be taking a big chance exposing anyone, especially someone who is suffering from uncertain physically ailments that could possibly be cardiopulmonary in nature, to even a low-level radioletcric field.
While I suppose it is your risk to take...

Yeah... the Empire doesn't really care. The first priority was to shut down the machines without having them implode. From my understanding, an ion pulse would do that, and there's no reason Panacea would be designed not to do so because if you fire an ion pulse at someone, they generally die anyway.
However, given this is a controlled situation, I took it that the guy might survive. And if not... do I care? The story works either way, so if its of major concern I can kill him and be done with it.
