Strip Tease For Me, Baby / Tie Me To The Bed, Dear
mmm yeah, have to agree with the other guys on that one. I mean, it IS standard that you have to sign any check and its quite possible you were like the tenth person she told to sign their checks that day. And because she was looking at your baby doesn't mean she was aiming the disgust at HIM, because really, how many evil people in the world are there that actually look at an innocent child and think yuck? Maybe she was reacting to the jammies he had on or was thinking random evil thoughts at the carseat manufacturer...

Yeah, she was pissy about the pen, but hoping she get's fired for it? Very extreme. And your boyfriend needs to calm down. Being reminded to say please when asking to use someone elses stuff, albeit in a snotty tone, is no reason to burst a blood vessel...

Invest in that lavender baby wash. It seriously works. Makes the little guys snooze and helps calm parents down too...

I take it you are on a welfare program?

It would explain her condescending attitude toward you.

I have worked retail and I don't care what a customer does, you're supposed to remain polite. I always have when I encounter a rude customer. And it's funny, a lot of the times a rude customer will either apologize or tip me because I remained so nice and calm even through their temper tantrum. Its what you're paid for. But sometimes customer abuse goes too far and thats when you call your boss over. I didn't do squat to her to deserve that attitude. And that whole reminding me to say "please", she said it in a way that was challenging. Kind of like one of those ghetto people that bob their head from side to side as they talk. Plus if she had handed me the pen I would have said "thank you" like i always do. I always say "thank you" and "have a nice day" to everyone that helps me out. So I don't need any lesson in being proper.

And a mother's wraith is worse than PMS. So if I were the kind of person I would have jumped over that desk and clawed out her eyes. But I'm not violent. I grew outta that. >.> Hoping she gets fired is pretty miniscule compaired to what MY mom would have done if I were in my son's shoes and she in mine.

Any spare change?
Perhaps next time, asking the person what the matter was might be the more prudent option.

Holy biggot, Batman! You must be a card holding member, eh?

In my humble opinion you have done zero to justify your actions. I honestly hope this person's employer thinks the same.

I always say "thank you" and "have a nice day" to everyone that helps me out.

Always? I seem to recall some examination tips related to the use of the term; always. In most cases, it implies an incorrect option.

You play the "mighter-then-thee" character pretty well. I hope you fall off of your high horse and get stomped under it's oversized and over-strained hoof.

And then your whole bit about Mothers-Wrath and Clawing-of-Eyes just goes to reinforce my belief that you do very little to look at the world beyond its direct interaction with your personal life. First you claim that you're a better person, that you wouldn't hop over the table and claw her eyes out even though, you imply, others would. Then you go on to state that you have outgrown violence, which is an utter falacy (unless you have somehow managed to elude your own humanity). Last of all, you justify. You protest that hoping she get's fired is better then physically asaulting her...

If I were you, which I am very obviously not, I'd go out of my way to make amends for such poor behaviour. You may laught at the idea of Karma, but on a larger scale the theory is very sound... as you are seeing here and now.

Lame.

fuck that duck
I have to say I agree (mostly) with Beff... but not in so mant words. They make my head hurt.
[size=1]"So the woman asked me what I wanted on the sandwich and I said I do not care it is for a duck, and she was like oh then it's free. I was not aware that ducks eat for free at Subway. It's like give me a chicken fajita sub, but don't worry about ringing it up, it is for a duck.”

Demosthenes X:
That's a pretty selfish and ignorant position to take. Maybe this woman is just a bitch, but without knowing what right do you have to hope she gets fired? More to the point, without knowing her financial position, does what she did actually deserve the possible outcome? It's not a particularly nice act, but it does no real harm to anyone. Without knowing what prompted her, you really have no right either to say she deserves to be fired.
What right does she have to hope she gets fired? Every right. The woman was a total bitch.

Without knowing her financial position? Fuck her financial position. If she was in such a tight financial position perhaps she should act more professional at work. Maybe the woman has starving kids at home. And if she does then I would feel bad for the kids if she got fired. However her getting fired would be her fault and hers alone. Heazure didn't really do anything to spark this type of behavior, unless she left some huge part of the story out. Maybe she has a thing against hedgehogs and could smell it on Heazure's boyfriend?

Beff:
Suppose she does get fired? Suppose she can't afford to feed her two week old infant? Suppose she blows your car up.
If she can't afford to feed her own infant as a result of getting fired it's her own fault not Heazure's.

Beff:
In my humble opinion you have done zero to justify your actions. I honestly hope this person's employer thinks the same.
Justify what actions? Someone treated her poorly and she felt bad about it. Not to mention she has a newborn child, which she's obviously very protective of, and she perceived the woman to give her baby dirty looks. If any of you were in the same position and acted differently than she did I'd be surprised. She didn't fly off the handle or do anything crazy. She just went and talked to the employee's manager, I don't think that's a ridiculous thing to do when she's received such poor service.

What really surprises me is that you guys are so quick to take the side of the employee with the bad attitude. I don't really think the whole transaction was that big of a deal. The employee had a bad attitude and shouldn't have taken it out on the customer. It's not Heazure's job to get to the root of the problem and find out why the employee was a bitch. If the manager has had other complaints about the employee then maybe he'll fire her. I doubt it. I bet he gave Heazure one of those responses like, "I can't believe this happened.. bla bla bla.. we'll talk to her and make sure this never happens again. We apologize bla bla bla that's definitely not how we treat our customers bla bla bla." But in the end will probably mention it to the employee in passing and nothing will really happen.
