uuummm don't you guys think with a baby about to be here any day, your going to have all the hassle you can handle without adding an untrained ferret to the mix?

Cats are worse. Their claws are much sharper. And I didn't want him to get it in the first place. ~.~ I didn't say anything because his hedgehog died and he's been wanting this stupid thing for a long time. In fact, right now I hate it. It bites really hard and I don't want it around my baby. But it's too late, can't return it!

And it's missing right now and I don't know where the hell it is. If it got past the sliding door and into the hallway/bathroom/bedroom, I'll scream. If it got to the bathroom, it can rip apart the garbage and toilet paper. If it's in the bedroom, it's in the closet shitting all over everything and getting it's germs all over the baby's stuff. And if it's in the hallway and figures out a way to climb, it's eating my hamsters! *about to have a nervous breakdown* I am a week overdue and I have to crawl on my hands and knees to find a creature I don't even like!? I AM GOING TO KILL MY BF! *livid*

No... right now I think he's a moron....

The hamsters are mine. They're easily taken care of and don't escape. No harm to the baby. The hedgehog was since my bf always let her run around. The baby would have tried to snag it and got spiked. And this ferret is worse. It bites, it's germ infested, it smells, and it scratches.

Sounds like you have a real problem.

Your BF isn't the brightest bulb in the marquee, knowing that a baby is on the way and will need much more attention than a ferret.

hedgehogs are bad in a way too... they are naturally a germ infested creature, it's their self defense mechanism. Each of those quills is covered in bacteria designed to cause nasty infections in anything they poke.

try http://www.wuzzles.com/ it's a site for people who know alot about ferrets... they even have a ferret cam set up

Found the stupid thing in the couch. I locked it in the closet and now it's back to screaming. But I don't care. Scream all it wants, it stays until my bf gets home and HE can watch the stupid thing!

Cats rule, they're naturally very clean and self reliant animals.

Really majestic creatures.

A more elegant animal for a more civilized age.
