I guess you mean three mainstream bands Demos, because I can name like ten bands with female singers just off the top of my head. Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis' other band (can't think of the name), Metric, New Pornographers, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Animal Collective. Plus probably about a dozen smaller bands from around Canada I can't be bothered to think of.
Low and Iron and Wine both have female backup singers.
As for mainstream bands, there are the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Donnas (who are absolutely fucking god awful), obviously Bjork (who I include just because of the style of music she makes). Plus obviously some shitty bands for retards like Evanescence and No Doubt and all that shit, I won't even mention those.
