During the reign of TIE:
After TIE took control of Coruscant, Emperor Gue placed a huge shielding device called Throne over a good half of the planet, preventing TIE from accessing it, while at the same time, Gue declares himself Emperor of The Galactic Empire (TGE).
At this mutiny, a series of battles ensues with the collected military forces of the newly broken apart TGE fleets against the quick to act TIE. Unfortunatly Viscera and... someone else, I think it was Darth Poreon, also mutinied against Thrawn, taking a good three fleets with them. This act weakened TIE enough that TGE was able to repulse them from their half of Coruscant, as well as take the fight back against them, which lasted for a long while until Thrawn turned TIE into Shadow Fleet.
Hard to remember the rest, but I recall after the victory of TGE over TIE something triggered a war against GMA. TGE had many more worlds, but GMA had twice as many ships. So then self proclaimed Emperor Gue turned to the Imperial Remnant, already under siege by GMA, for back up.
At the greatest and final battle GMA struck against IR, and as Emperor Gue struggled to find a way to help, the message was recieved that IR had switched sides and joined GMA.
and then it all went OOC, I was having a hard time IRL, so I handed over control of TGE to Viscera OOC. GMA became TGE...
