I'm sorry that my writing isn't good enough to live up to the standards of a junior high school student who writes ham-fisted fiction in between sessions of fiddling with his dick. Maybe if I work my whole life I will be as good as you. Kyric you are the best person in the world.

"You can consider yourself a better musician, but that won't save you from, at the risk of sounding like Kierkegaard, being a terminal bore."

Where's the contradiction? You can be very skilled at playing an instrument but be horrible at originality.

A musician and someone who plays music are two different things.

*shrug* well maybe thats' his point. That people who claim to be musicians but just really play other bits of music are overexaggerating their skill.

Wow Kyric you are absolutely right, that is a horrible error. How do you go on Kyric? How do yuo summon the will? I don't know. You are a remarkable boy Kyric and one day I am sure you will be big and strong just like Popeye.

Peace... ah... something the world, and the coalition, lacks.

Uhh... yet another reason why drinking and TRF to not mix.
[size=1]"So the woman asked me what I wanted on the sandwich and I said I do not care it is for a duck, and she was like oh then it's free. I was not aware that ducks eat for free at Subway. It's like give me a chicken fajita sub, but don't worry about ringing it up, it is for a duck.”

Christian music is another example. No offense Kas but from what I've seen, most of the music that people like you play is pornography for religion, in objective and appeal. It is a vessel for the religious message it carries. Look up the textbook definition for pornography and replace "sexual arousal" with "religious feelings" and you've pretty much got contemporary Christian music. Pornography is an artistic void designed to cram as many tits onto screen in the designated time period as possible. Christian rock is an artistic void designed to cram the words "GOD", "JESUS", "HEAVEN", and "CHRISTIAN LOVE" as often as possible into a 3:30 song. Or sometimes more ambiguous terms. But that's a commercial move and I doubt I even need to comment on that.
All music is a vessel for a message. Music without a message is nothing, it equates to chocolate without the cherry inside. I write and play music that projects a message that is very important to me, as do you, I would assume.

See, I find all of this kind of thing kinda pointless really. I love music, and I'm an electic.
I like all kinds of music, some which is perhaps 'poppy' and fashionable , and some that others might find rather obscure.

...and to be honest, (IMO) music is just music, you like it because you like it, not because of some message or from some grand epithany inspired from it, (though , if thats the case, marvellous!).

What kind of music you like, comes down to personal taste, and as we all know, personal taste is as diverse as, well music itself.

Its sad, Kas, that you feel music without a message is nothing, because its not nothing, its music!, enjoy it for what it is.

*shrugs*

You people over-analyse things too much.
