Gamecube just went down to $100 USD here, I was toying with the idea of getting it, and Mario Mêlée. That was, of course, until I realized that a Radion 9700 would be better.

Super Smash Bros Melee is excellent followed by Zelda and the detail in Resident Evil.

I watched the teaser trailer, if there's one thing I dislike in a video game it's having the in-game models kiss! Gah, at least use a pre-rendered scene for something like that, so it doesn't looks so hokey.
It does look awesome though. Hmm, time to go look around for info on Fallout3 and Deus Ex 2.

It depends very much on what type of games you like. The gamecube is generaly more kid oriented, but the games are fun. It's also the only system to have the Resident Evil series on it.
The xbox is aimed at the more teenage-twenties crowd, with a lot more M rated games.

correction Kas, PS2 has resident evil on as well, but a different series but i hate PS2 so i don't say there is any point in getting it.
Gamecube=cartoons such as Mario, Wario, Super Smash, Star Fox Adventures etc etc but they are good in graphics at the moment i reckon X-box would be a good choice because Gamecube aren't that strong in selling games because they aren't at there best.Gamecube 2 comes out in 2005 so it really depends on your taste.

Lorenzo, the PS1 has Res Evil games, to my knowledge the 2 never had a ps2 spesific RE game.
