I've been posting here for a long time and this is actually the first time I've felt threatened thank you very much.

Kas is very imposing, I understand that. Who isn't scared of a young, white, christian, kid in a rock'n'roll band. Very scary.
So are those Ezboard Guidelines, damn opressing. The way they deny you the right to advertise... or spam, off-ezboards shite. As if the stuff here wasn't bad enough?
You wanna know what's really funny... He's not threatening you at all. You'll note he did not report it? In fact, he simply tried to save you making the same mistake at another board (not that you would, I'm sure) and thus earning yourself a global ban when someone less tolerant then Kas goes and drops an email off with the Corporate folks.
Why is it that everyone you've never heard of always resorts to the "I've been a member for ever" defense. You'd think that if this were the case, you'd be a tad more fermilair with the general attitude of TRF'ers.
And I still stand by my statement of opinion. Harry Potter sucks.

I would add ‘threatening’ to Beff’s CT, but it’s full enough as it is. I would add it to mine, but I happen to like mine the way it is right now.
I’m afraid the TRF you may have known back in the day is a lot different from this TRF, Jenson. You stated in another thread that you’re bored, and want to do some role-playing here. If what you are looking for is a luvvy-duvvy-warm-and-fuzzy place, you’ve come to the wrong URL. While it would be nice if TRF was more user friendly, it is not the case. TRF is very competitive, and that competition bleeds out into everything else - you have been warned. You think this thread is harsh, rude, and threatening to yourself? Do yourself a favor and lurk in the OOC forum.
If you can’t shrug off something as simple as a bluntly worded warning on ezBoard’s global policy for spammers (which, if I recall correctly, has been in place for ages), you won’t last long here.
I’m sorry, but those are the facts. It would be great to have another writer here, sure, but if you can’t absorb something as small as this without taking personal offense and feeling threatened, you won’t be happy here. Try TGC.

Some people here are just not very nice to anyone who advertises.
Anyway, as Kas said, things are a lot more argumentative around here then they used to be, say around the Christmas after TRF was made. Back then there wasn't half the swearing(as I remeber it), and arguments had less insults(except for one notable exception when I told Chadd to F off and to screw himself about five times in one post, then did that for ever post after that, but that was an exception. Now things have swearing in about ever sentence. I bet if I said that swearing was good because jesus never swore, we would get tons of rants and arguments and swearing the second anyone saw it(and once Gash comes back).

What the hell. That wasn't even partially threatening. TRF hasn't gotten worse. It's just stayed the same.
