This is definatly not a cheesy name. <3 it. In all honesty, and this is my opinion, I like the prequel titles. Each one basically sums up the movie of which it is attached to, much like the OT ones did.

Face it. None of the movies have very good names. All of them do the same thing: they describe what happens in the movies (with the exception of A New Hope... kind of).

I thought "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" were, while indeed descriptive names, very powerful names that conveyed a good image of the content of the movie.
Phantom Menace is a lame name, this phantom menace was mentioned like, once in the film. Attack of the Clones is all right, not too bad but not too hot either. Revenge of the Sith, IMO, references actions that took place thousands of years in the past, during the great Sith Wars. In order to make ROTS a powerful name, significant back story would have to be shown onscreen, something that would completely kill the movie.
So while ROTS has the potential, it doesn't have the foundation required to be a great name. If there was a previous set of movies set during the Sith wars, then it would be an awesome name. Right now the entire revenge bit is coming from one codger who's made a total of 1.4 appearances, .59 of those being as a holograph with a paper bag over his head.

Well, the revenge thing has already been mentioned in TPM, so backstory isn't really needed.

I don't remember any significant mention of revenge in TPM.

Most definitely the best prequel title of the three, I think. TPM and AotC were just... ugh. I guess the names are even more tainted than usual because of the horrible movie content they identified.
I guess since Revenge of the Jedi ended up not flying back when the OT was made, GL decided it was a good time to use it now.... and it fits well.
