I know.
I have read it. I already own it, hence the reason why I agreed with Charley. When I said I was going to look it up , I meant find it again in my bookcase.
Just couldn't resist the opportunity.

Sorry Kyric, I didn't mean to offend you, I did honestly mean it in jest.

It looks like a good movie. It also looks like it will be NOTHING like the book, which is a good book.
Im a big asimov fan, ive read... ALOT... of his gargantuan Foundation/Robot series.

Once you get past the whole "BUTCHERING ASMOV'S STORY RAWR OMGWTF!!!!111!" it doesn't look like it'll be too bad of a movie.

El mas chingon!
I saw it yesterday. It is nothing like the book.
Then again at the end of the movie, the credits read, "Suggested by a book by Isaac Asimov."

OMGWTF I, Robot wuz liek SOOO awsome i swear Will Smith fo sho was al liek "FUK U ROBOTS!!11!" LOLOLOOLZZ n den he shot sum guyz and i wuz all liek "WOAH" n it was liek sooo cool!!!111!!
That being said, I just got back from seeing "I, Robot" for the first time in theaters today, and I have to say I'm more than a little impressed. Will Smith has impressed me again, for ever since the mediocre Men In Black II I hadn't thought much of him.
In a time where most U.S. films have been "Hollywoodized" (IE the Matrix sequels) I, Robot just seems to stand out in the action-based genre. It was actually the best action movie I've seen since the original Matrix (sorry LotR fans, but after reading the books I can only say the movies fell slightly short of their intended mark).
I have read a few bad reviews from those who claimed it "butchered" Asmov's works which the movie was loosely-based off of. I think it strayed away from the book itself slightly, but that is kind of hard not to do since the book was merely a collection of short stories.
Two thumbs up from me.
