It's ironic that Kamon believes in free speech enough to call a man who is several hundred times as smart as he an idiot (simply because he disagrees with his values), and yet in the same breath claim that people have a "right" to limit Moore's free speech.

Several hundred you say? Pretty funny considering it's not true. By intellectual standards I'm probably almost as smart or smarter than him. Although I give him the fact that he is much older than myself and is probably more world smart. I admit that I am not, but I have my opinions and am relatively book smart. Besides, the right to free speach applies here to so I can call him what I want.

Free speech is not a two-way street. People do not have as much right to have the movie banned as they have to have it made.

It's also ironic that Kamon talks about "the people" wanting this movie banned, meanwhile advance tickets are selling like cocaine to a young George W. Bush. F9/11 is going to be one of the highest grossing films of the year. It's not the people Kamon; it's a bunch of rich white men in suits. It is the right of every person to see the movies they want to see. It is not the right of a group of people to ban a movie because of its political implications. That is called "fascism".
And I'm guessing Michael Moore isn't going to shed any tears over his movie's lack of appeal to the "fifteen year old arch-conservative maniac" demographic. If you don't want to see it, don't see it; as you've said to me numerous times over AIM, ignorance is your drug of choice. But the day a nation on this continent bans a film over its political content is the day I move to Europe.
