I used IE5 for years, only got 6 when I upgraded windows.

But then, I don't even use IE. I prefer my browser to be better than simply good enough. :)

Jesus christ already, Kas.

Give me the link to download mozilla, you psychopath.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free.

I would recommend Mozilla Firebird over the standard Mozilla for the new user, it's much easier to get used to, and is just a browser. The mozilla suite (what I use) has an IRC client, email client, address book, and HTML editor built in.

You can read about it at http://mozilla.org/products/firebird/why/

There's a download link at the bottom.

Give it a week of exclusive use and you'll never go back. Remember, middle click (or ctrl-click if you are mouse-wheel-less) opens a new tab.

It's a little strange, but it works...

I'm to damn lazy to get used to a new Browser. IE works.

You can change the width of the subject line in the code (and the width and height of the post field too, for that matter). The Quick Reply button looks fine to me. IE 6.0.

It sounds like your Mozilla is screwing it up, not IE, and that you're just used to Mozilla.

I wasn't doubting that you see two different things... Looks like IE is keeping the field widths equal (as per what the code says), whereas Mozilla has taken it upon itself to change the size of the subject field.

Either way, Mozilla is far better than IE. Tabbed browsing + no security holes = win.

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder why moz is resizing the subject line. I couldn't find any CSS controlling that, heck, I couldn't find anything saying that the subject should appear any different than the body.

But that code is so messed up it could be anywhere.

As you may have noticed, I removed the subject line -- too ugly.
