I wasn't overly impressed with Generals, myself. It's to far a stretch (imo) from the original Command and Conquer to be associated with them.

I mean, it doesn't even carry the Westwood label!

Gamecube is the better system.

Regardless, I can get all X-box games on PC and play those online for free.

yeah, go gamecube!

Well, it is the only game0only company. Sony and Microsoft are just large corporations backing up smaller companies to do the work for them. Not that I'm saying their game systems are bad, far from it. I merely find all three systemse to be good enough, and the only thing that truly differentiates them to me is A) games available or b) policy.

Policy? Explain...

I don't like the selection of games on Gamcube. They're mostly geared towards younger kids, it seems.

Yes, they are, unfortunatly. But Sunshine is a great game, even if you don't like the kidiness and left-wing premise of it, it's a challenging platformer... Zelda Collectors Edition is awesome, Wrestlemania XIX is awesome if you like wrestling, All-Star Baseball is good, not great, but good... and more will likely come out that aren't aimed at children. Rebel Strike looks good, too.

I am a 'younger kid', so I like 'em.

And policy is rather important when three things are so very similar. All three systems work really well, so which one is run by a company I trust more? Nintendo is an all-game company, so they're devoting all their efforts towards their games and the game company as a whole.

Nintendo have always been more kid-centric. You don't often get a game that strays away from the chunky colourful format of the Mario series, but really, I don't mind that. Games like Ocarina of Time, despite having photorealistic graphics, are awesome. You can get a lot more play value and entertainment out of them than many more realistic 'mature' games.

Nintendo make fun games, and I don't imagine they're going to change their formula or style any time soon quite simply because what they're doing now sells well. People lap it up. :)

I haven't had fun playing a nintendo game in about eight years. They're just too simplistic and not enjoyable. I'll take Ghost Recon over some lame ass game where a kid runs around with a sword making the same slashing motion to make oddly-shaped monsters disappear.

Ghost Recon is for GC too.

It plays like shiznabbit. But then again...

I dunno. PlayStation seems to have an edge. It can make all the Crach and Gex and Croc and Sphinx games it wants, and for some reason they still get the Maxx Paynes etc. Hopefully good sales of ports and the new numbers of GameCubes will bring developer support, or I might be forced to buy a friend.
