Thanks everyone! Actually I did recieve the e-mail from the British Publishing agency, Noble House I believe. My English teacher about flipped when she heard that I was getting a poem published not only here in the state but also over in the UK.

BTW Kamon, nice work!

No no...they will but they throw in the offer for you to buy the book if you wish to do so

My sister got an offer to publish one of her poems once; she forgot to send the confirmation letter in, though. It was a poem collection, couple thousand poems...

So did I, that's why I was curious. I sent in a poem I wrote when I was 10 as a joke... it was accepted. They didn't pay me though. They generously offered to let me buy the book it would be published in instead.

Yeah that's what ticks me off. *shrug* I sent in a poem for the Parade's contest. I could win up to $300.
