I also must question why "Corulag University" or a university operated by SoroSuub would not be under Imperial jurisdiction, regardless of what planet they're on.

And I also doubt that other groups are enthused about your essentially RPing their level of media-censorship for them.

Well you see SoroSuub is based on Sullust which IS owned by TNO so even though it's on a different planet I wouldn't be surprised if SoroSuub would exactly be giving you help.

1. Don't flame posts OOCly.
2. If you're new to TRF, don't post advertisements here. If you must do it, do it in the Rebel Cafe.

3. When replying to threads, try to stay in character unless what you have to say, OOC, pertains to the thread.

SoroSub may sponsor a school but without a planetary ownership I can still RP saying that the academy aided me in getting the authentification of this holo-vid. Sponsorship means that the school can still remain under independent control of the staff although alot of money comes from a specific source.

Now then. I seem to remember that the staff made a ruling on RPing "independant sources" in the Propaganda forum. IE, that you can't do it. Tomorrow, I think I will get a recording of Joren Arden talking about genocide against Imperial planets and have thirty different "independant sources" back it up. You can't say that it's wrong, because all this unaffiliated sources back it up! Isn't that great? This opens up a whole new set of possibilities, Vonta. Thanks.

But... but Vonta... say it ain't so... if everything has to be based on having been RPed... this whole thing is bullshit because you never RPed this as having happened! Gasp! And no, I don't count you going back and inserting "O YA AND SUM GUNGAN GOT IT ON TAPE" to be RPing it. That's a nice try, and all, but give me a break, here. You didn't RP it, it didn't happen, and you pulled this whole thing out of your ass. Trust me, an oppressive government regulating SoroSuub is FAR less of a stretch than some tape of an incident that's been largely hushed up miraculously appearing out of nowhere.
So, basically, here are the choices; stop RPing independant sources, or admit this whole thing was bullshit. You can't have it both ways -- you've argued rather effectively against that.
