Tholatin Republic looses shirt over false claims</font>

Another INN reporter transmitted a copy of their resignation to be desk this morning, with a note attatched telling me that I should share the information with the rest of the galaxy.
It seems that this reporter, whose name is being kept a secret for fear of Tholatin reprisal, is one of many with a growing concern over the lies coming daily from the Tholatin government.
In their latest release, the INN has 'recovered' a 'terrorist flag' from the downed freighter that destroyed a large portion of Tholatin's surface earlier this week. Jerik Somir, it seems, cannot let even the pilots who were tragically killed by his government rest - he must no insult their memory by attributing items to them which they did not own, and which could not possibly have been retrieved from the wreckage.
A freighter like the one that was shot down carries a YTK44 Reactor, which puts out in excess of ten trillion volts of energy. When these reactors explode, as the freighter's did, they superheat everything within six hundred meters to many millions of degrees - literally incinerating anything within this radius.
Human flesh and synthetic cloths are vaporized instantly, reduced to their component atoms in less than a second. It is a physical impossibility for anything (or anyone) in the freighter when it exploded to have survived the blast.
That three bodies were found of the seven thousand killed is a remarkable fact in itself - the explosion of the downed freighter was more than enough to incinerate nearly everyone within its blast radius.
What concerns me most about the situation, though, is that the Tholatin Republic continues to cover the situation with more lies and deciet. No apology has been offered to any of the thousands who were killed, nor to their families, or to those who lost their homes and businesses. No apology to the families of the freighter pilots, who do not (thanks to the actions of the 'Republic') even have a body to bury.
Only claims that the building was empty. I guess all the buildings in that two-kilometre blast radius were empty, too? It is one thing for a government to slaughter its own people needlessly.
It is something else entirely for them to lie about it, and even to go so far as to admit that it was their fault, but do nothing about it.
During the rise of the Holy Demosthesian Empire, Bhindi Drayson once accused the Tholatin Republic of being, in truth, an Empire.
I believe the term 'terrorist' to be a much more accurate description of that body.
Good night.
