There was no more SY upgrade!!!!!!!!!
We just waited five days untill after we got the tech to use it in an IC battle. And Kyric the rules that applied to the R&D would apply the same if we were using the R&D.
Er, if you don't have a thread of some sort as proof you can assume it never happened, Meer. All builds and modifications need to have a thread somewhere detailing that the deed was done.

The proof of us giving them the R&D was posted in the last OOC thread. If you want to see it, go to ORS OOC forum scroll down and see a thread called transfer of assets, posted by me. It should be the second thread you encounter that is posted by me.
As for making a thread, what would the thread say? No where was there a rule saying anything about guidelines for upgrading ships.
And I'm surprised this was brought up so long after the fact, since ORS has used this in at least one other thread, and no one complained(which also made us thing that it was legal).

Though, it says the ability to, I see no thread refering to it actually being done. Though, there is a point that this 'upgrade' would have been done a while back and I see no mention of any ORS ship using it since. Its awfuly suspiscious that now would be the point in which its there.

Jan, it's pretty simple. If you don't have a thread, you don't have a case. Always, always create a thread for any sort of transaction. The rules cannot dictate everything, some things are simply common sense.
