Talus, now fully aware of the treachery that his Jedi opponent was using on him, came to a quick and simple conclusion.
Run.
Moving quickly, he spun and dashed for the opposite bushes, diving into them and going into a stealthy crawl to move far from his entry point. When he was a little way away, the Sith sat down in the grass and took a moment to clear his head of the Jedi tricks.
He was angry. Angry that the Padawan had been able to trick him. He could use that anger.
Drawing on the powers of the Dark Side, he swept his conscious out across the area, and bounced off the Jedi'’s now puny attempts at control.
He was ready.
Talus circled back around the way he’d come, and hid in the bushes just outside the clearing.
There he is...
The Sith could see Corran now, standing close to him, staring blankly at the spot where Talus had disappeared. It was certainly no illusion now.
He lunged.
Run.

At the last second Corran felt the sith sneaking up on him. Spinning around he saw him preparing for a disembowling slash. Quickly overcoming his surprise at the sith overcoming his illusion he brought his saber down in a vertical parry and responded with 2 fake slashes one high and one low. Just as the sith reacted to the second fake corran brought himself around in a lunge at the sith's belly.
