And they found...
"Mining ships, sir. Great for getting the ore out of those rocks, but I daresay they won't be much use against our fleet if they chose to attack."
The General nodded, peering ou the viewport at the Winger ships. The asteroid field was huge, expanding in every direction as far as the eye could see. Hundreds upon thousand of millions of asteroids... trillions, even. And of them... there were certainly some large enough to hide a Star Destroyer behind. Even a Super Star Destroyer, should one be found. Perhaps even a Death Star...
But getting a Star Destroyer into that mess would surely destroy it. The risks were unfathomable. It simply could not be done. The Trade Federation would not risk on their prized ships to suck a maelstorm. And even if they did, a loan Star Destroyer could not hope to stop the oncoming task force. And that was assuming that the Trade Federation wanted war.
Nonetheles... "Keep an eye on the asteroid field for anything suspicious."
"Sir, we've connected with what appears to be their Cheif Vessel. Contact is open for your station, sir."
"Thank you, Ensign." Fo'din walked briskly to the holoprojector built into his command seat and triggered it, sending his image to the nearby Winger Chief Vessel.
"Unidentified vessels, this is the Galactic Defence Initiative Super Star Destroyer Blaze of Glory. This system is being siezed in the name of Galactic Peace. You are welcome to carry on business as usual, though any shipments will be collected by our ships." He paused a moment for the Miner Chief to ponder this, then smiled thinly. "Be warned: any foul play will be met with lethal force. We are here to save lives, not destroy them. But your lives are insignificant comparted to the thousands that suffer needlessly due to your actions. Do not make us add to the list of dead that this War shall cause."
