If we're taking fictional characters to survive a fictional zombie plague; I'm going with the guy who gets infinite lives. And has a proven track record against said zombies.

.22lr would be fine, tons of ammo to be found. But it lacks stopping power, so unless you're Mr. Wondershot and every trigger pull equals a headshot...

In a less brutal survival situation I'd go with a Springfield M6 Scout.

Or are in a secure enough position to let them come close enough to be sure of headshots

Would Nerve Gas (say Sarin) have any effect on a zombie? Or would their undead state pretty much negate any effects that gas would have?

Let's test that on a real zombie, Park.

Oh, wait Zombies aren't real.

Now I remember why everyone pretty much ignores your input.

Also, no.

So no, the Sarin wouldn't have any effect at all? Or just a limited effect?

Can we test it on you? Not for any reason which has practical application regarding its affects on zombies; just because it would make me smile.

Over and under gun...nice. Though the calibers of both barrels are a bit light for me.

Personally, I'd probably take a Saiga 20 Gauge shotgun with traditional shot ammunition and slugs instead. Of course, that probably doesn't have the same range as a 22, but I'm not expecting any zombies to get the drop on me first with a gun...
