I thought that gas at $3.00/gal was the absolute worst thing that could happen to the US. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

Is it too early to say that $4.00/gal is the worst thing that could happen?

I think that the four year term allows a mentality by which each sucessive president can easily be regarded by their constituents as the worst ever.

Then call me confused, because I tend to think GWB was better than both.

And with the whole troop surge thing we've made huge strides in reducing violence. The troop surge began at the beginning of 2007, and violence has declined dramatically since then.

And with Al Qaeda defeated (google: Al Qaeda defeated), sometihng you won't see thanks to the liberal media, we've made huge progress and accomplished most of our established goals.
