The Rebel Faction

Amalia's eyes had begun to sting as the dirt blinded her eyes. Knowing that she could not see, she closed her eyes. She used her ears to help aid her. She could hear Malice's feet running through the grass, the sound growing louder as he grew closer. She could feel the rind just near her change its pattern, and Amalia knew Malice was near, the air growing increasingly different near her left shoulder. She tried to move in time, but her timing was off. Malice had managed to center a kick right at the left side of Amalia's cheek. Ignoring the pain, she blindedly brought her right leg around, slamming it into the small of Malice's back as he made his way to land on the ground. She heard him groan as she quickly moved out of his way just a foot or so. She reached out for a split second, feeling her left cheek, it appeared not to be bleeding, but it felt warm and swollen. She lowered her hand and moved into a fefensive position, again using her ears to aid her until the dirt would leave her eyes enough so that she could see again.

Amalia's eyes widened, she gasped for breath. The move to stopping Malice was really quite simple, very simple indeed. She force pushed him, but not just any force push, a force push that sent him flying backward, sending him slamming into the trunk of a tree near by.

Malice concentration upon Amalia broke, thus, letting her breath again. Her levitation into the air was not much of a problem either. She knew she would fall should Malice's concentration break, and so she embraced her fall onto the ground. She slwoly stood up, making her way over to where Malice was.

"Still want to play, pretty boy?"

Amalia lay there with her eyes wide open as the tree came tumbling down toward her, even if she moved now, the tree would still crush some part of her body. So she did the only thing she could do, she braced herself for the impact with the tree, making it so damage wouldn't be as bad as it could be. It landed against her hard, with a thud, she gasped for breath. She lay there for a moment, trying to gather strength. Once she felt she had enough strength, she force pushed the tree off of her and beside her, not bothering to throw it at Malice, he would see that coming a mile away. She moaned slightly as she lay there, unmoving, her body ached all over. She knew something had to be broken, but she didn't know what. Slowly she got to her feet, sharp pains ran through her chest, she bit on her lower lip, trying to hide her pain. Her head pounded with pain, and she felt dizzy, her stance showed as much as she struggled to stand on her feet.

"That one smarts.."

Her eyes kept their place on Malice, her mind reached out with the force, yet to Malice, she appeared to be doing nothing. Indeed she was doing something though, something not seen but rather...felt.

She reached out to the tiny creatures that lived in the ground, proding their little minds. Willing them to work with her.

Ants, fire type ants, thousands of them. All at once, quickly appraoching from underneath the ground and up toward Malice. All it took was a minute, but it was a minute that would have a lasting impression on Malice. All those ants began to crawl up Malice. Bitting him in every which way they could, not stopping to rest for a second.

"You like to dance, don't ya, Malice? Yes, I always thought you were a good dancer, it's one of the things I miss most about you."

The vines continued to press themselves firmly around Amalia's body, this action caused her internal organ's to squeeze together in a harsh manner. Yet she did not fight, she knew that fighting would only make her troubles worse in this type of situation. She knew she couldn't waste time now, and that she had to do something before anymore damage could be done to her.

She knew that it was never wise to take her eyes off of her opponent, not even for a second, no matter what was being done. Certain senses could do what her eyes could not.

All Amalia had to do to be rid herself of the problem at hand was to stop Malice's concentration, and all that would take would be a few simple movement through the force.

As for those vines, well she had other plans for those vines.

She concentrated on Malice, the pain she felt was increasing making it that much more difficult for her to concentrate, but somehow she managed. She reached out with the force, reaching out toward Malice, she levitated him. Though as quickly as the levitation began, it had ended by way of Amalia throwing Malice roughly to the ground by way of the force. Even then she was not done as she watched Malice fly backwards and toward the ground a foot or so away from where he once stood, in turn, Malice's concentration broke upon her and the vines released their hold upon Amalia, but the vines being controlled had not ended there.

The vines grew larger in size, by way of Amalia's manipulation, stretching up as if they would be something to climb up. The vines seemed to stretch as far as to where Malice was, only reaching as far as his feet and then they stopped. The vines wrapped themselves around Malice's ankles, drawing him off of the ground and into the air, upside down, about eleven to twelve feet into the air, and then...

Malice began to swing, but not the kind of relaxed calm swing. It was the kind of swing a tremendous wind storm would bring. The vines violently began swinging Malice back and forth, all the while, Amalia's eyes remained on Malice.

"How's the world feel upside down, Malice?"

Amalia was already in great pain to begin with, the lightning only added to her pain. She screamed only once during that whole burst of sets of lightning bolts, but it was a horrendous magnificent scream, the kind that drew everyone's attention, those near and also far and wide could probably hear it. Though after that, she screamed no more. She didn't know if it had any lasting impressions on Malice or not, nor did she care.

Amalia gathered and sucked in all the force lightning that was thrown at her, allowing her body to absorb it all and take it in, though dangers, she needed to do it. She quickly drew upon the force as Malice's deadly attacks continued. She brought out a force shield, as she drew upon the force, summoning it around her, to protect her. It would not last long, but the shield allowed the energy blasts of lightning to bounce off of her and straight back at Malice. She watched Malice's body jolt and shake just as hers had done moments before, he fell backwards, the pain on his own face evident now. She wasted no time as she jumped into the air, and upon her landing she came down upon his legs as hard as she could, her attack had been successful as her success was brought forth with a snapping of sorts, so it would seem she had done damage to his legs.

She quickly moved away from him slightly, the pain she ahd felt had increased in strength, but she had given out her own pain in return toward Malice.
