Park Kraken:BTW Kraker he's 100% right in his description of FL. I've been in FL for the past few months after living my whole life in San Diego and I've never seen worst drivers EVER. To say that it's the tourists is a complete exaggeration. Even in rush hour traffic I had to put up with in San Diego the drivers weren't nearly as bad as the ones here in Florida.
While I will admit we have been a hurricane magnet as of late, I resent the yankees statement (that only apply to the tourists during the winter months), and bad drivers (again, the tourists). We've got serious Southern pride, good beaches, and tons of amusement parks, plus shuttle launches, and so forth.
Dude there's freaking signs on the highway that have to tell you to pull over if you get into an accident. Who the hell needs to be instructed to get OFF THE HIGHWAY if they get into an accident?

Don't forget, NC also has hurricanes, just not in the past few years. Before this damn new pattern took hold, I would say that N.C. was the hurricane magnet, not us. Dang Wilmington and Cape Fear, people must of got tired of rebuilding year after year.
Although, being a Railfan, I did like the scenic railway they had in the western part of the state. The Great Smokey Mountian Railway, I believe it was called. Went up and rode on it one year when we went up to Dillard GA for a car show.

Yeah yeah, I will admit drivers seem to be more tame (or lame?) in other states than in Florida. Even I seem to be a dangerous driver in other states, whereas I would classify myself as defensive in Florida.
BTW, out of curiosity, what part of Florida are you in?
