OOC Joe, I consulted Hex, you take down my Dreadnaught, but sorry bud, you lost the Abolisher, and the Red Dog is out of Gun Range, so, HAH! And how many times do I have to tell you? A terrorist syndicate with no prior funding and only one planet CANNOT have Imperial level training, it's simply impossible, you should barely be able to staff your ships as is. Oh one more thing...your commanders donno jack shiyat about the Force cause quite frankly, you never stated before the battle they were trained, you never trained them, and they are simply raw Force users if they have any sensativity at all.
The emperor winced as his dreadnaught first took a series of tiny explosions throughout the hull, then dipped downward, spiraling out of control, and then slowly it pieced its exterior out...and exploded, sending a seering shockwave around it, damaging all the ships around it...such as the
Avarice,
Disruptor, Destruction, and
Zealous Mist.
But it was only minimal damage, and the battle continued. The turbo lasers picked up at an alarming rate, and it seemed the shields of the
Hell Bringer decreased slightly, but not enough to make a major difference.
"Ok bring the Star Destroyer around, we're too vulnerable back here," the emperor demanded, clutching his hands painfully behind his back, he did not notice the slit of blood trinkling through his black leather glove however due to the tenseness of this battle. It was amusing however, that only now had Schmoe taken down his first Rogue Imperial star cruiser.
The Imperial Star Destroyer twisted and turned, taking several hits to the starboard, but returning them ferociously to the fore of the Mark III Star Destroyer, where they could not fight back. The small anti-starfighter missile launcher as well ripped from the bow of Joe's monstrous star cruiser.
"Ok good, now that we have a good defensive position, dip it starboard about ten degrees, give them something to break their teeth on."
There was no arguement, the emperor had been in many of these battles before. The top turbo lasers were letting out the typical
SHREWER SHREWER as they exploded from their holding cannons and tore more and more of the shields from the Mark III Star Destroyer.
"Ok good, good, aim at the deflector shield generator, the remaining one," he explained excitedly, slowly letting the grip on his other hand soothe as he watched the battle, enticing his flavors of victory ever further.
He looked over at the grid display to see:
The Rogue Imperial capital ships had the
Destruction pinned down in a small box, and the several green turbo lasers colliding into it did not exactly help its morale or shields any. With the New Alliance forces hitting them as well from the fore...
More shots collided back into the
Hell Bringer, the Chimerans' desire to slay the emperor went deep down, yet they simply did not have the experience, courage, will power, or training to do so against the battle hardened Rogue Empire.
The bridge shook slightly and he spun to the comms officer seated below his catawalk. "Contact the Abolishers, have them activate their anti-gravity wells," he demanded as he frisked his hands about one another.
"Aye aye sir!"
His navy had trained long and hard for days like this, he had fought long and hard to be well sought out like this, and now...the Chimeran Syndicate would have to die long and hard like this.
A stray Shadow Droid tried taking pot shots at the shield generators of the
Hell Bringer, but to deal with that a turbo laser met it head on, ripping the solar panels from the main hull and sending it splashing against the strong exterior and deflector shields of the Star Destroyer.
"We're taking heavy damage from the
Avarice, please assist!" cried the speaker from the Victory Star Destroyer
Red Dog. There was an easy way to deal with this.
"Ok time to test out these new missiles, hit the
Avarice with two of these FEX-139 missiles, make sure we have one or two left behind however," Fearsons said with a feral grin forming to his lips.
The normally anti starfighter missile launcher curved open and launched one two missiles toward the ion thrust ship, they would be forced to divert some fire...if they even saw it coming in the first place.
"Redirect all starfighter fire power on the Ion Thrust Ship, wait no, cancel that. Send the Missile Boats and TIE Defenders against the
Avarice, keep everything else here and have 'em hug the
Hell Bringer."
More shots from the
Disruptor and the
Tempest Mist combined with the massive vollies from the
Raging Night Hammer began to take its toll against the
Lusankya and
Destruction. The engines began to crumble, the second shield dome tearing from the bridge. The battle was going all too well indeed.
