Heir, did you forget to convert to Gallons? A single gallon is 3.78 liters. So, per gallon, the cost per gallon in US Dollars over there is actually $7.33.

fuck that duck
milkshake:Ah, sweet naivety.
Well I didn't realize the liter thing but still... it's probably about equal. (and I bet ours was higher after the supposedly oil-pwning hurricane Katrina) It should be, too, since I'm guessing gasoline is more or less an international good.
Heir: because we all know a US gallon is the same thing as a metric liter. I mean, you guys own the world, right?
It's not like one gallon is almost four liters, or anything...
Oh... wait. What's that? One gallon is 3.7 liters?
In Britain, they're paying ~£3.70 a US gallon. That's $7.18 USD per gallon.

Any spare change?
If only that daft St George murdered that blasted dragon on the border, then us Scots would have got a day off work too.

Death, maybe if they increase by a factor of 3, you'll be paying what we do!
I see everyone's pretty much worked it out - yeah, so $7 and I said $10 but I was in the right area. No joke. As for pulling troops out of Iraq...heh. Probably after Blair has gone which should be in May... I'm no politician though.

Dear me, Gas IS rediculously expensive there then. Metric system is massively better than the backward US system by the way. Of course that's only a tiny bit of why US is awful at math and science though....
*sigh*
I looked it up and gas was 6.50$ a gallon when I was in europe last. Hm. Guess I wasn't the one paying.
