Machiavelli. Not Machiavel. Give the respect. Give the love.

He deserves it.

Machiavelli is an excellent author and gave me a great deal of inspiration - his downfall was not his fault.

Karl Graf von Klauswitz (German spelling) - another excellent military theorist from the impertubable Prussian School, that to which I aspire. {{Do not argue with me on spelling, I have a 1904 copy printed in Frankfurt an der Oder spelled thus}}

Sun Tzu - he is well - - classic.

Lest we forget Tacitus.

Alfred Graf von Gneisenau - another excellent theorist - to anyone who wants to be like me, I recommend reading it. However, his works are nortoriously hard to get ahold of.

And the best of them all

Matthias F. W. von Mueller, Baron von Saar - the best of them all*

*before you look him up, he is me. Obviously*

I've got Art of War...enough editions thereof to make my head spin sometimes. Thoroughly enjoyable read, and it even helped me get an A on a paper in one of my Business Writing assignments. (Needless to say, the professor was quite impressed.)

I'll have to look into getting the Machiavelli and von Klauswitz works. Thank goodness there's a Border's on the route I use to get to school. :)
