No. I go by how he worded it. If someone writes "I jump through an abolisher field." What he could mean is 'He jumped around it' but what it looked like is he jumped 'through it.'

Anyways, if a Star destroyer, even an Executor class took a 1000 missile broadside it be down 80% shields at least. See,they are proton torpedos so by the average damage delt by the games, they do 150 BLS. Thats 150,000 SBD/RU taken. A full volley from all of his portside weapons would take out maybe 350 or so. Leaving 650 to hit. Now, thats 97,500 SBD/RU taken away. Even with the fighters, your 'cutting' down of their numbers was was surreal. In the books, they had difficulty. ROUGE SQUADRON HAD DIFFICULTY SHOOTING DOWN MISSILES. Especially missiles that have long been launched and are very close to their target and you are coming in at odd vectors. So, I give you another 100. That's 550 left for those keeping score, leaving
82,500 SBD/RU taken = 85.9% Damage*. Just as Ahnk said.

Note: The Executor Star Destroyer had the Elite Missile Defence System-meaning all but 10% of the missiles fired would be destroyed. So since you say you launched 1000, only 100 would actually hit. That's my piece for the day.

The only reason I'm posting in this thread is because I designed the system, so I understand it the best.

I know both Marth and myself count down from 100%, unless otherwise stated, as I think most people do.
