But to be a nice guy, I put it down to "a few moments" from "a few minutes" anyway.
I was talking about the KIBC Mk II. You are aware of it and its capabilities?
A CGT, while not perfect, still gives me an good idea where your fighters are, perticularly in groups.
Not around a large mass, such as planetary system. And yes, this actually is important to the thread and what will happen.
Planetary shields stop Ion Cannons. Ultrachrome may or may not be outdated - that is not something relevent to the current thread- but it is not nearly 100% effective, or even 80% as you seem to say. No. That's unfair. And that "neverending cycle" of yours is bullshit.
The neverending cycle is theoritical only, and that's not how I've played it. My point in pointing out the cycle was to show that I wasn't overplaying it.
A microjump isn't instant.
No, it only takes several seconds to compute with some equipment, which the Confederation now possesses.
You have no patrols on your system edge - none were mentioned, none exhist.
Not within this thread, but in others. But if you want, fine.
At least when I plan on calling in reinforcements, I have the courtesy to give sketchy details on them before hand. *blows nose.*
Because when both you and Kraken entered the thread, as planned within TNO, I knew that was coming, both from reading the IC thread and from here.
A SOb masses less than a Pegasus.
Discussed already. There's no certain way to actually determine because both Drayson and myself could define the masses of our ships.
You are going to lose lots of fighters. Look at WWII bomber raids, or attacks on ships with dive bombers in the Pacific. Our boys got turned to mincemeat.
Certainly, and so did the Japanese. But that's not an especially good argument, because neither side was using stealth planes, whereas Drayson and myself are both employing ships that either are stealthy or mix up sensors, which is a huge advantage. If you want a historical example, consider the F-117 attacks in the first Gulf War. Not a lot of forces on the stealth fighters.
In you post you never mentiioned the Audicia having a tractor lock on the SOb. Therefore, there is no tractor lock made by the Audicia made on the SOb.
I didn't mention the Audacia in specific, I simply stated the entire fleet tractored the SOb. Thus, because the Audacia is part of the fleet, it would be tractoring the SOb. But that's irrelevant, since because of Jan's persuasion, the maneuver is going as planned.
There's more, but I really don't feel like continueing to go through the thread and listing them.
Honestly, I'm sick and tired of it. Yes, Corise, I know your list's bigger than demos. But a lot of taht is explanations.
Seriously, guys, shut up and RP.
Kach, you should know more than anyone else in TNO that this was going to happen. If none of you can feasibly justify some of your most powerful actions, why should I let happen, particularly when you started attacking me first?
Once again, can I get an opinion from a TNO member on railgun damage?
EDIT(because Beff just posted):
Agreed. Perhaps we can work out a pausible story line? If anyone, regardlesss of faction, thinks of an idea on how to resolve it, could you please post it? Thanks.
