Perrin swung once more striking a wall of data. As he slowly turned around toward the voice, his eyes shifted left and right at the rows upon rows of smashed data "walls" lined up.
The Jedi stood in the center holding tightly his weapon.
"Come to instruct me on the error of my ways?" he asked, grinning wryly.
The Jedi bravely put up a front of courage. Or perhaps the courage was real.
In any event, he had no perceptions beyond what was in front of him..
Perrin put a hand on a burnt data wall, small fires erupting behind him. The crackle of sparks (sometimes behind him, sometimes overhead) were ignored.
This Jedi wants to fight.
"You would choose to protect inanimate objects rather than the city's inhabitants who are surely dying?" he asked curiously.
"Strange set of priorities for one who cherishes life."
Perrin's eyes narrowed in concentration as if he seemed to glance through the Jedi.
His opened his arms wide keeping his saber on.
"Here I am, Jedi."
Perrin's grin widened.
"Take your best shot."
Sparks ignited overhead as the Sith and the Jedi stared at each other down the length of the library.
