Khar Shian
The shuttle flight was relatively quick, though Xireon's patience had tested by even that.
For the past ten minutes, however, Xireon's mind had been distracted by another dillemma. The death of Massassi warriors echoed out through the Force, in a place where none should have -- the bowels of the cloning chambers of Khar Shian.
The Jedi had been foolish; one of them had allowed his presence to flow become blatantly obvious, drawing on the Force without hesitation or stealth in a moment of shock and fear. As the
Crimson Tide sped across the Khar Shian wilderness, the words of Darth Noktu came to him, despite not being their intended target; the location of the two Jedi in question.
Xireon glanced at the Achrion by his side. The black-armored warrior did not glance up at his master, though the Sith knew that the Force-imbued soldier had heard the words. "Where is the nearest opening to the sewer system, which would place us at a point to intercept the two?"
The Achrion began tapping buttons on the
Crimson Tide's console. A small, holographic map appeared, and the synthetically-altered voice of the soldier replied emotionlessly, "Nor-north-west, thirty-two kilometers."
"Go, then," Xireon replied. The Sentinel-Class shuttle pulled about, slicing through the air in the opposite direction. Despite the advantage of the Jedi in having to travel a lesser distance, the Sith had a vast advantage in the speed of the shuttle; he had no doubt he would be able to intercept them.
Xireon quietly called out to Noktu in the Force, the lesser Sith easily hearing his words.
I, too, will intercept the Jedi... bring your reinforcements as soon as possible.

Just minutes later, the Sentinel-Class shuttle paused ponderously in mid-air, slowly lowering itself to the ground. It's rear airfoils folded together with the central wing above the fuselage, and the landing gear deployed, before the vessel sat itself down gently.
The vessel's landing space was a field next to a small lake, an out-of-the-way location where the sewer system had once spilled into the water. Xireon descended from the landing ramp of the shuttle craft, turning back only briefly to order the Achrion to stay where he was.
Xireon then walked down to the lake and leapt into the open drain. He made his way into the main sewer system quickly, turning a few corners and lighting, within his hand, what appeared to be a small fire. Finding the main canal, the Sith extinguished the fire, and waited in the darkness.
The Jedi saboteurs were in for quite a suprise.
