Once her gaze had caught sight of the cafe, she never seemed to allow her face to waver from the establishment.
She had everything already played out in her mind.
She pictured it easily enough. Malice walking out, Lono held tightly within his grasp.
No surprise reached the woman's face when Malice finally did come out with Lono; her visual image of the two was almost a carbon copy of how the two appeared to her then.
Her brown eyes reached Malice's face first before her son's, quietly observing Malice as he looked onto her.
She'd stopped in her pace, keeping four feet distance between Malice and her son. Her lips parted, it seemed as if she were going to speak but for some reason changed her mind as her gaze finally fell onto Lono.
She smiled ever so faintly, despite the situation that had come to be. Her gaze retreated back to Malice; finally allowing herself to address him.
"Hello," she said softly, perhaps too softly.
Though she neglected to say another word, her eyes said everything she could not or would not say.
A silent plea her brown eyes offered Malice.
After it seemed as if she would say nothing more, her mind reached out to Malice's.
.. What.. do you want?
She could not pretend to know what Malice wanted.
Tell me.. what do you want?
She would not do it.
She would not dare beg him out right.
... But she would be sure to give him what he wanted.
Any means necessary to save her son...
