Asri had only just started to notice that Miknak was attempting to use something on her when Lavality’s lightsaber ruined both his hand and the device. This of course only fueled Asri’s desire to kill the man, so her blows started coming in more violently. In short order she had opened up his abdominal cavity and bits of his internal organs were starting to fly everywhere.

“I agree.” Trazu grunted as he struggled to focus both on channeling the Force with the crystals and blocking the incoming blaster fire. Of the soldiers that had melee weapons he simply cut them down when they dared to get close enough. His main worry was that whatever massive Force attack they used, they risked hurting Asri as well: they would have to be very precise.

When he felt he had channeled enough, he reached out and grabbed one of he assault vehicles with the Force, then using it like a battering ram, he swung it around, smashing it into soldiers and one of the remaining spiders.

Finally he hurled it into one of the other assault vehicles, destroying them both. “Your turn.” Trazu said to Lavality, panting slightly. Oh he was going to have the mother of all headaches when this was over.

“I don’t either…” Trazu growled as he repeated the trick he did with one of the two remaining assault vehicles. “Sounds big…possibly too big for any of us to handle….” He wanted to see what was behind the blast doors with the Force, but with all his a focus on thinning out what was already in the chamber with them he couldn’t. So instead of slamming the assault vehicle into the remaining one, he held on to it with the intent of hurling it at whatever came though that door.

An image flashed in his mind, a warning from the Force. He released his hold on the vehicle and knocked Lavality and himself flat to the ground, just as the blast doors were blasted from their hinges. Why would they blow off their own doors? He thought, unable to see just yet what was beyond the doors.

Meanwhile Asri was starting to get a little annoyed: this bastard just won’t scream! This reminded her of her father Besk, which just pissed her off even more. Finally fed up, she grabbed the man’s head and started to twist. Soon enough she heard the satisfying ‘crack’ of Miknak’s neck breaking, but she wasn’t finished yet. She kept twisting until the whole head came off and she gave a loud cry of triumph as she lifted the gory head up into the air.

It was a tank, but at the helm of the tank was one of their own troops, which brought a great sense of relief to Trazu. “Guess the tide had turned above ground.” He said as he helped Lavality up. The arrival of Seren forces in the chamber quickly took the fight out of the remaining soldiers that opposed them. Probably what helped in that even more was the fact that Asri was now walking toward them with Miknak’s head tucked under her arm.

“A present for you dear.” Asri said with a broad grin as she handed the head over to her.

Trazu looked worried though. “How much do you want to bet that he has this place rigged to self destruct?”

While they waited for the smoke to clear so they could get a clear view of the last door, a familiar face entered the chamber.

“Awww….you guys kad all ke fun…” The cyborg Tiskus rumbled, sounding disappointed.

“Well it looks like you had a lot of fun getting here.” Trazu said with a smile, noting all the blast marks, scratches and other signs of damage on the cyborg: he seemed to be functioning normally however.

“It was a klast.” Tiskus said with a grin.

By now the smoke had cleared enough to see what they were up against. The last door was indeed formidable, at least twice as thick as the previous doors. “I don’t kink I can open kat….” Trazu heard Tiskus grumbling regretfully.

“We need those explosives with brought with us…” Trazu muttered. “But they got left on our ship due to the crash. Unless….” Trazu looked at the crystals in the chamber and started to focus. “Lavality, I’ll need your help here….” He muttered as he started channeling the Force through the crystals.

For this Trazu switched to ‘mist vision’ and imagined the Force starting to wedge itself in the seems between the two halves of the blast doors. He felt Lavality add her will to the process, but he also felt a sense of lack of time on their side. He pushed himself, wisely heeding the unspoken warning and the faint audio warning he was now hearing.

“Trazu.” He heard Asri say, concern in her voice. “We have plenty of time, no need to push yourself too hard.”

“No we don’t.” Trazu countered and persisted with his task without offering an explanation. He was starting to feel the door give way, which prompted him to push even harder. Fatigue was starting to set in, but he ignored it:
they had to open that door! He was reaching his limit now as the door painstaking opened inch by inch and it was taking all his will to keep it going. In his mind’s eye he saw Tiskus rush forward and add his physical strength to the process and with his help the doors finally slammed open.
The moment the task was over Trazu collapsed, almost all his strength gone and his head pounding with the mother of all headaches.

“Trazu!” He heard Asri call out and felt her carefully lift him up.

“Find the bomb…quickly…” He managed. “The announcement is a lie….”

At the door Tiskus saw immediately what was behind the door and reacted before the two tanks opened fire on him. He jumped on top of the nearest tank and ripped it’s turret off, then used the turret as a sledgehammer against the second.
