Jaina couldn't move from the fearful shock of seeing Kas and Dak, the last two people she'd expected or wanted to see, standing before her. And the worst part was the expectant looks on thier faces, espically Kas', that demanded an explination.

"Miss."

"Huh.", Jai rudely blurted it out before thinking.

"Your nav cards and lane passes to Coruscant are ready, Miss." The woman said, pushing them across the counter to Jai.

Jai's haert sank. No lie she could come up with would work now. They'd know she was leaving and where she was going. "Thank you, Ma'am.", she said softly before scooping the items up and shoveing them into her pocket.

She turned her eyes back to Kas and Dak, "Hey there, Kas. Your Majesty Dakkon, always a pleasure."

That's right, Solo...turn on the charm, smoothe things out, maybe they won't think anything of it.

"Imagine meeting you two gentelmen here! The Force works in mysterious ways, ya know? 'Cause, Kas, I was about to come tell you that...I'm leaveing...indefinately. I don't know when I'll be back."

She cleared her throat softly, useing that to stall while she came up with more to say.

"Nothing major...just....testing out new things and the like. Heh."

A silence hit a moment and she bit her lip. Totally out of things to say she stood there and stuffed her hands in her pockets, looking like she'd rather dissapear than stand there in the awkwardness of the moment...

Her words stunned him slightly. This was an... unexpected event. It took a few moments for Kas to collect his thoughts, and form a cohesive sentence. The news of Lupercus must have hit her rather hard. Harder than I had thought.

“Good luck on your trip Jai, I hope this trip brings you great pleasure, and prosperity.”

Kas watched Jaina leave, and he was saddened by the turn of events. It was entirely possible she might do something foolish, such as an impossible smuggeling run. In her current state of mind... anything could happen.

“Here are the flight records for the ship “Greyhawk” sir. No destination entered.”

Both Kas and Dakkon studied the flight schedule. It was brief, as brief as a schedule could possible be, and still maintain its legality. As the receptionist had said, no destination was listed. Did you really expect Dakkon to believe that people he thinks are on the run would list a destination?

“Back to square one Mr. Darksword, I’m sorry.”

Dakkon just glared, the disappointment and anger very clear in his eyes. The Crown Prince opened his mouth to speak, and shut it immediately. Turning abruptly about, the Hapen marched down the marble covered floor toward the exit.

And now, a cold war situation could develop…

Kas turned to the receptionist, pulling out his security card. “Give me a list of all recorded hyperspace exits within the last three hours, spesificly around the area of space the StarHome entered. On the double.”

As the receptionist reached for her com, Kas turned and headed to the Men’s room. Privacy was needed for the next step. As he walked he hit a few buttons on his com, encoding the transmission, and selecting a hyper-wavelength. He waited until the washroom was empty before he made his call.

Kas didn't have to go to all the trouble though. It wasn't needed. Sure, Jai was long gone...but all he would have had to do was go back to his place. Jai had sent a message over there and it was waiting down at the doorman's desk.
To Mr. Katta, From A Friend, was how she'd addressed the envelope.

Whenever he'd get there, she'd told the door man to make sure he received it---safe and sound. The note was hand-scrawled in Jai's rather difficult Corellian text. But the sum of it, in Basic, was this:

Dear Kas:
I'm sorry I had to go. Working for V.C. has been great, but I do feel it's time to move on...and, in light of recent happenings, I'm guessing you know why. I kind of need to go find myself, get away from everybody and everything for a little while. I'll be in touch, and don't worry about me. Please.

I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused. And I hope this will make it up to you...On Mon Calamari, latitude 234, longitude 789, there's an island. On the island, ten degrees north from the only point on this island is a cave. Walk about 12 feet into the cave and there is a little crack in the cave wall...There will be candles, food packets, and a envelope there. In that envelope you will find the cooridnates to Lupercus' whereabouts.

Becomes A TNO Agent

His hand clenched and unclenched slowly, a breathe of air escaping his blank lips without a sound. The air passed his feet as they leant on the cot, before slowly drifting onwards towards the woman who stood with her back towards him. He sensed her shudder visiably before shaking the feeling off and proceding with her work. She had long learnt not to show weakness in front of her captor. Lupercus chuckled silently, his usual sneer stretching across his face revealing his bone white teeth. The woman shifted slightly, her garment dropping to reveal her back pockmarked with the scars of her captivity which caused his sneer to widen. Suddenly a small and barely hairy head popped up on the womans left shoulder, its deep brown eyes wide with a look that was incomprehensible to Lupercus. The head bobbed slightly as the woman patted the baby on the back, resulting in a small gurgle followed by a burp.

The woman stood their cooing like an idiot, but the baby didn't move, his wide eyes focusing immovably on those of Lupercus. The sneer held, wavered and then fell, only to be replaced by a glare, his left hand clenching again and coming to rest just under Lupercus' nose. Still the baby stared, its bovine gaze never faltering despite being met by a glare of such intensity that no man, woman or child had been able to meet it with for longer than a millionth of a second. The contest was broken as the nursemaid turned and placed the baby in the closest cot to her, allowing Lupercus' eyes to drift down to veiw the line of cots that lay in the centre of the darkened room.

"You are done, back to your cage."

The woman didn't even look up, she just trundled off into an alcove in the wall. As she entered it, a wave of his hand sent hidden bars slamming down, sealing her in the small cave. To each side of the chamber lay stairs, both curving up around the sides of the room. One was carved from the same wall as the prison, the cage seeming to have been tunnelled in underneath the stairs, the other circled round unimpeded, both starting at almost the same point, but ending nearly symetrically opposite. He flicked his feet off the nearest cot, his glance barely viewing the huddled form of the second baby. The middle cot was completely ignored by Lupercus who strode across the room to a computer. His hands danced over the keypanel which brought up the message he had sent not an hour ago.

As he reread the message his sneer returned, imaging the damage his little jaunt had done to both Jaina and Tevarii mentally and physically. He chuckled slightly as he remembered Tevariis penechant for pain but it quickly died as his thoughts drifted back to Jaina. The torture he had done was masked, but sexually degrading a jedi had long been on his 'to do' list. As he deleted the message with the touch of a key his mind drifted slowly to the latest adage that his insane mind had concocted.

"Why go for the kill when you can go for the pain..."

The sudden intake of air sounded through the cockpit when Vessana gasped suddenly as The Greyhawk dropped out of Hyperspace. Her hands gripped at the arm rests of the co-pilot's chair, her eyes wide and staring ahead at the planet Averam though her mind did not register it.

" Vess? Vess, what is it?" Ren asked anxiously.

" Oh gods I can feel them!" She said excitedly. " They're here Ren, I can feel them!" She hissed then, as if in pain. " I can see him, Lupercus."

The image in her mind showed her the Sith lounging on a cot, staring just as hard back at her as she was at him. The intesity behind his gaze chilled her heart as she realized she was seeing him through her child's eyes. " How much longer?" she whispered in desperation.

" An hour, maybe two. It's not a large planet, but still large enough for him to hide from out scans."

" I can get us there." Vess released her hold on the arm rest and reached over to Ren. As soon as her fingers touched his skin, he could sense what she sensed.

" Fifteen minutes, at most." he corrected himself as he guided The Greyhawk in the direction he felt the children.

Vess nodded, not wanting to disrupt their connection. It would all be over soon...

Registered Sex Offender The TRF Staff Does Not Support Or Condone The Existence Of Ren Janggar

Vessana had guided the little freighter down through the darkness of the sky and into a clearing on the surface surrounded by a thick forest of dead and petrified trees.

They set out into the forest, Vessana clutching Ren's arm every inch of the way, lighting the way to her children through her mind.

The wind howled through the tree's, and overhead thunder and lightening festered in the sky, occasionally letting out a momentous crack. Ahead the flashes of lightning illuminated what appeared to be some kind of mansion or castle, casting a dark silouhette on the blue rippling sky.

Moments later they cleared the dead forest, and were now in full view of the Mansion. Cracked and crumbled steps led up to the huge doors which gaped open and seemed to swallow them as the pair walked inside.

As Vessana and Ren stood inside the main lobby, the familiar snap-hiss of a lightsaber could be heard behind them in the doorway. Ren turned and unclipped his own saber, igniting the bright red blade.

"Lupercus . . ." Ren said firmly.

"Looking for something Janggar?" Replied the shadowy Lupercus.

"Get out of here." Said Ren, tilting his head to Vessana but not removing his eyes from the sith in the doorway.

"Ren, I,"

"Go now, find the children and get out of here!." He snapped.

"I'll take care of Lupercus."
