Lavality smiled when she heard the verdict; she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement run through her veins. The silence that McGan exhibited as he was taken out of the council chambers spoke volumes. She knew that he was regretting his actions, and even before he was brought to the waiting transport, she could hear him begging for his life to the two females that were escorting him out - of course no one bothered to mention that both females were two of her most trusted Trandoshan officers. Both of which had lost loved one's to McGan's traiterious attack on a supply convoy back on the rim.
She stood there and continued to watch as the transport lifted into the air and soon disappeared into the sky. A sigh of relief came from her, that was one problem that she no longer had to worry about, McGan would be returned to the command ship and every trandoshan on board would be given a free two minute 'light' punching bag, or rather it was suppose to be two minutes, after some thought she reduced it to thirty seconds since she realized that even a minute would be to long.
Now her main concern was Maskis who she now had a serious problem with. "Now to deal with someone who I've trusted for years," she said and turned around. As she walked down the hall two warriors came to her side, both from the clan that Naosha was from. "You two aren't here because of Naosha.. eh?"
Both shook their heads and gripped their weapons tightly. "Then I hope you realize that I can't protect you when she finds out you've left your posts."
Again the two just shrugged and followed her.
Silent types... she said as they rounded a corner and found Maskis standing there looking out a window. His cloak fluttered slightly from the air that circulated through the room. "What do you have to say for yourself?" Lavality said demandingly.
Maskis sighed and turned his head just enough to where he could see her with one eye. "Nothing... I did what I felt was right, but it seems I was wrong," he said, "perhaps my actions were unjust."
"That's not what I was talking about..." Lavality said, anger filling her voice. "You where working with them, I want to know why."
A sly smirk formed on Maskis's face. "You sure it's something you want to know?" he said and turned toward her. Lavality snarled and placed her hand on her weapon, but she felt someone place their hand on her shoulder and she stopped, she turned to find one of her admiral's standing there - Merendez.
"You know Maskis; there's a lot we don't know about you even to this day. Your very reasons for joining us, it seems we've now figured it out." Merendez said and removed her hand from Lavality's shoulder.
Maskis shook his head and walked down the hall a bit before he stopped. "Lavality, the very reason the organization doesn't trust you much is because you are still just a child... you think we want to follow the orders of a---!" Maskis said before he was thrusted into the wall. A loud bang resonated throughout the building, walls cracked, and the floor split apart right down the middle.
When he opened his eyes he found a katana's sharp blade up against his throat; and a very pissed off Lavality. "I may be Jedi, and I may be a leader, but I will not and shall not, have anyone question my authority. Just because I 'look' young doesn't mean I am." She said angrily.
After several tense seconds she released her grip against his throat and took a few step's back. "Lucky for you I have no wish to kill someone who had been such a 'great' help to my orgnaization," she said. Behind her both guards rolled their eyes, one speaking something to the other.
Maskis rubbed his throat before getting up and looking at her in the eyes. "So explain it to me - why have you betrayed me?" Lavality asked calmly.
"Betrayed you?" Maskis asked curiously. "I never betrayed you; I merely with held information that I knew would cause you pain and grief, and it seem's I'm right. You can't handle the information I have."
Lavality growled before turning toward the door. "The Trandoshan's are your people and I think a certain Trandoshan wants to 'talk' to you," Lavality said, referring to Asri. She then turned around and exited the room and down the hall, every now and then a window or two shattered from the shear anger she released.
This Jedi training isn't helping me.... she said to herself.
"Want me to help you out? Kasyyk asked from within her mind. Lavality merely nodded and gave a weak smile when the windows stopped shattering. "I have a long way to go before I can completely control these ability's," She said and looked at her hands.
Meanwhile, on the Serendivus Command Ship
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!" McGan yelled painfully as the guards sat him down in a chair in an isolation room; outside a line of Trandoshan's ringed on down the hallway, some carrying weapons, others had just their fists. One wanted to bring a blaster but he was told that he couldn't kill him, another one wanted to toss him out the air lock, but that was reserved for Lavality.
As the doors parted and the three hundred Trandoshan crewmen entered the human guards bid them farewell and closed the door.
