I think the more important point is that the brick wall cannot think and is not alive, and did not choose to be capable of destroying your car when you crash into it.
If god exists and created hell and decided you'll go there for not choosing to belive in him on faith, he has obviously DECIDED these things, he has made a choice, wheras a brick wall makes no choice as to its' ability to make you crash and what will happen to you when you do.

the brick wall example is a crappy one, becuase the argument against it is if you dont believe in the brick wall, it will destroy you.
God says, "Worship me via belief in my Son, and I will give you heaven. Deny my son and burn forever. There is no Inbetween."
If you choose to not believe in Jesus, you burn. Mother Terisa (sp?) could have been an aithiest and would now be burning in hell. Ghandi could be burning in hell. Just becuase the belief in Jesus is the only qualification for entrance into heaven. That child rapist down the street, he gets forgiven and allowed into heaven; but that other guy, the one that lives in poverty becuase hes always helping people in need and rarely keeps for himself, he goes to hell becuase he doesnt believe in christ.
Christianity is not only full of holes and loopholes, I wont go into examples but lets just look at the inconsistancies between the old and new testimant sometime eh? The fact we use some things from one and some from the other. If the book was holy would you not use the whole thing?
