I'm a star wars RPing veteran, I've forgotten how many sites I have been to. By chance I came across this one, although I'm pretty confused about most of the history, since most is changed, it probably doesn't matter.
But can someone tell me the different factions?

The Coalition is the New Republic of TRF (though not exactly like NR, just similar).
The New Order is the Empire of TRF (though again, not the exact same as the Empire from the movies, the ideas are a bit different).
The Black Dragon Empire is a super-high tech theocracy.
The Union is a group of different legitimate businesses and criminal factions working together to achieve the goals of the Chairman.
The Bounty Hunters Guild, self-explanatory.
The Jedi Order, self-explanatory.
The Sith Order, pretty self-explanatory.
The Commonwealth - Umm...ask one of their members, I'm not sure how to describe them.

Ah,thanks. Well, I'll probably be looking to join the Coalition, for now, so I can get my bearings and get a name for myself. I'll assume there is some sort of test of sorts, or a selection process. Who is the faction leader?
And Wilkar, that sounds like the best definition I've ever heard, and almost made me join the commonwealth.
