I personally have loved this franchise, the first two movies have not only been well scripted and cast, but well acted as well. I am excited about this one because of the darker feel and the trio of villians Spidey will face.

well I don't know about that well cast part, I love their choice for Peter Parker, but Kirsten Dunst, although a great little actress, just does not say Mary Jane to me. She was supposed to be a super model the likes of Cindy Crawford, for crying out loud...

Well I am skeptical of Topher Grace as Venom [I was speaking of the casting for the other films]. Eddie Brock is supposed to be a body builder capable of benching like 250lbs prior to the symbiote suit.

Topher Grace looks similar to the guy playing Peter. That's probably why they did it.

The movie series seems to be following the Ulitmate Spiderman in terms of look, for spidey anyhow. I honestly don't think they'll get too far in to the Venom storyline in this film, it is my opinion that they'll end S3 with Venom's creation, thus building up for S4.

Possibly. In the trailer Venom has a control on spidey for a while so Venom will have to be a somewhat major character. The biggest though is the Goblin. Though in this case wouldn't it be the Hobgoblin?
