Just thought I'd let everybody know that I'm going to be away for a little while. I had an ear operation on Tuesday morning, and after whining my way out of having to stay at the hospital overnight and stuffing my throat with lots of ice cream, I returned home to discover that, lo and behold, my ADSL connection had mysteriously died during my short absence. Poor thing. I'm currently online using dialup, which is a very slow, painful and exceedingly cruel experience (it's taken me almost an hour to load this "post new thread" page), so I don't think I'll be around again until we get a technician over here to sort things out, which could take some time because Qatari people are dumb.
Sorry to everyone I'm holding up; I'll make a post in "Black Eyed Angels ..." as soon as I get back. Until then, everyone should feel sorry for me, because I am deaf and ill and really quite miserable indeed.
