I had only been on Spira for two months, when I began to let my mind wander to some other place and time. Though Spira's tropical atmosphere was enough to rid my mind of thoughts drifting toward ideas of other paths that I could have taken, I still tended to think about what things would have been like for me if I had not chosen the path that lay before me now..
Spira was, to say the least, breathtaking. Bella had been to various places across the galaxy, but in all her traveling, she had never seen anything quite like Spira before. The planet made her feel secure with its no weapons policy. The ocean on Spira was vast; small islands scattered about in different areas. Ataria Island was the first island the auburn haired woman had become attached to first, the island gave a magnificent view of the cliffs settled to the north and west sides of the island, not to mention the sparkling beaches off to the east.
He'd taken me to Spira on a whim, hoping to entice me toward something new... And for a little while, his thoughtful persuasion did wonders for my heart and mind. I had everything I could have ever wanted or needed, right here on Spira, but still… I still felt like I was missing out on something else... and I knew I was...
I wondered if things would get any easier.. For both of us....
"The sun will be setting soon."
Bella's light blue tunic softly blew from behind as she turned toward her companion, the open window creating a light breeze within their private resort.
"Would you like to take a walk with me along the beach, watch the sun go down?"
Her companion was much taller than her, but she did not mind having to tilt her head up to look at him. She rested her right hand softly on the left side of his chest, her other hand falling to his abdomen.
"Please?"
