Ok, I've recently been able to get the schedule down so I can catch the new shows of SG-1, and dude, does anyone else seriously miss Jack and Carter?
Ok, the people who used to be on Farscape? Nice interesting tongue in cheek casting. But not giving me my O'neil fix....

Carter comes back after a while rest assured. But the Farscape people really annoyed me.
The byplay between the original SG-1 team is missing though there was one episode where Sam was working with that NID guy and he asked about her marriage and Sam mentioned it didn't happen. The NID guy asked her out but she said there was "someone else". So not sure who she was referring too but maybe General Jack?
Who knows. Perhaps when you see the episode, maybe it'll hit you. I believe it was the one where Val is hiding on Earth.
Still, the religious aspect of the new foe seems intriguing but so far, this has not been one of my favorite seasons though I will continue to watch it, Atlantis and Battlestar on my Fridays when the season restarts.

Farscape guy? I like him. The girl? Hate her. You just know she's supposed to be tough, immoral but loveable but the whole loveable part isn't there. And they are so blatantly going to end her and Jackson together it's annoying. Any day now they will have a pivotal episode where Jackson will get over his obsession with Sharda(sp?) and move on it's creepy.
Also.... miss Teal'c
and Hammond.. sure the new guy is a Bridges, I'm a big fan of the whole family, but definitely not replacing Hammond. It's becoming weird in that if another scifi show dies, Stargate will hire you. Case in point, all the Farscape people and Lexa Doig from Andromeda.
And I hate when they throw two known names together and just say oh by the way, he's her father. From what mythical gene pool is this? Because they look nothing alike, in no possible way and I can't imagine the new general guy scoring with a babe who'd produce a girl as pretty as that one... also, so obvious in their working up to the Farscape guy and the Andromeda girl having a thing, if it's not already a past love affair...
But I will give them props on the Ori. Their just as interesting as the Guoald.

I haven't actually the seen the first episode yet. I was unable to watch it when it was first on and I missed last nights repeat but thankfully it's on tonight so I shall make sure I catch it.

Vala will only be in 5 episodes, although they may bring her back later. She was filler for Sam's recent absence due to giving birth. That's why she is still a little big even now that she's back.
I miss Jack and I don't like the Farscape cast being in my show, or Lexa Doig from Andromeda who is only there because she and Daniel have a relationship in real life. She is definitely no replacement for Janet.
