To be fair, there was some discussion of some sort of 'loss of element of surprise' as a penalty, it's quite possible he just thought that that loss would come directly from the Tholotia thing. I'm sure he can keep his writing as is, and just perhaps sub in something appropriate - by the way, the reason I have yet to scour the Tholotia references from my post is because I have yet to discover what that agreed-upon penalty is, so I didn't want to jump the gun. If it's agreed that perhaps some spy somewhere betrays the intent of the Imperial fleet, or perhaps a listening post detects your movements, then I'll proceed to edit as appropriate.
