It's just been released, yes. It's part of the Legacy of Kain series (obviously), which isn't particularly new.

Soul Reaver was a part of the Legacy of Kain series. If you play Soul Reaver/Soul Reaver 2, Kain features in it.

Mmm, i look forward to playing it then.I found Soul Reaver 1 and 2 an interesting story, so i am hoping this will have the same effect or possibly a similar concept.

I haven't played it yet (it's not available on a format that I have), but I've heard nothing but good reviews from Legacy of Kain fans. If you enjoyed the story in the Soul Reaver games, I'd definetly recommend picking it (and Blood Omen 1/Blood Omen 2) up.

The Legacy of Kain games have always seemed boring and @#%$ to me.
