We just got a PS2 and I'm wondering, what games do you all personally recommend?

I've heard Spider-man 2 is pretty good... other than that, I'm not terribly impressed with a lot of video games out there, period.

San andreas is good, however the game performs horribly on the PS2. Just waiting for the Xbox version.
You could always go with trusted classics like the Metal Gear Solids and the other Grand Theft Auto games.
Although, PS2s are now officially mediocre in my book since getting my Xbox with Halo.

I haven't played console games very often as of late, so I can't give you any real advice on games. To be often the only time I've played console games is when I am in a postion when I cannot play on the computer (eg deployed).
