I know there was a deal between Dolash and Heir way back when to give Mon Calamari to BDE, because I remember reading both the huge RP about it, and several OOC threads about it. And since BDE merged with the Dominion, that presumably means Mon Calamari should belong to the Dominion.

At present, however, it's on the Coalition planets list. Now ordinarily I would take this as a sign that Mon Calamari is still "mine", and just do a cool RP where I repopulate it or something, but because I don't actually know the particulars of the original deal with Heir, and because it seemed to have been quite a BIG DEAL at the time, I'm reluctant to pursue that particular course this time around.

So basically what I'm asking is: could someone who knows things about stuff tell me who owns Mon Calamari right now?

Coalition owns it still.   BDE attacked, was driven off.  Then Dolash did the whole Eastern Exodus thing and while (OOC) Raktus may have had Dolash convinced to let go of the world cause Raktus is a smooth talking SOB, since everyone disappeared I moved the Mon Cals back in though I don't think they are considering it the capital of GC anymore.  At least, I didn't since BDE attack was pretty devastating.  Cataclysm served as merger (officially) though Heir and Ahnk had plans for it well in advance but Mon Cal did not go to the Dominion.   It is and always was in an interesting location outside of Reaver Space (since they do not go into former BDE territory) but inside Dominion territory presuming whatever kind of Dominion presence on former BDE worlds Ahnk wants there.  I left that presence a mystery on purpose.

Uhh, yeah, so . . . about those two worlds the Reavers claimed . . . That may have never been addressed.

Although I did volunteer Maridun and the Paradise System to be overrun, and those were sort of East-ish, so . . . maybe that counts?

Bleh, "claimed", "infested", whatever. So the point is: all of the Eastern Province planets on the Planets List right now are actually Coalition planets, and really have people on them (you know, in the pretend universe where those planets pretend to actually exist) who, themselves, are Coalition citizens. Awesome.
