Kneel Before Zod!
Hey you people overseas (especially in England).

I am looking for Book 8 of the Chung Kuo series entitled Marriage of the Living Dark by David Wingrove.

It is out of print here in the states but I think it may be in print in England or (at least) easier to find.

I'd be willing to compensate or pay for the book outright (assuming the price is reasonable) if I can be pointed in the right direction.

If you see find a copy in a used book store or something, remember me.

heh.

"The Chung Kuo series, which is now complete, consists of eight novels about a future in which the Chinese have dominated the world, rewritten history, and built enormous indoor continent-spanning cities three hundred levels in height."

whaaaat? If it were still in print I think I would just have to go get it and read it.

You'd probably find it in a library or used book store.. The first book is common enough..

I was walking up and down the library aisles until something jumped out at me and this series did (though the library only had books 1-3). So I had to purchase them.

It is an interesting story but I hear this book 8 that I am looking for did not get very good reviews and is generally hated by readers of the series. But, that only draws out my curiosity and so...

Yeah... though I think Asimov did the whole "city planet" thing first with Trantor in the Foundation Series.

Who invented Coruscant, anyways? Zahn?

Dark Side Spirit
I think you are correct, Leia. But hard to say that I checked the site and it could be Zahn or the guy who made Dark Empire.

I'm pretty sure it was named in the scripts and a sequence was planned, but due to budget constraints and not enough time left in ROTJ, had to be cut early in planning.

That is my understanding.

Corellia was also mentioned in Asimov's Foundation series.
