Vonta was a experienced padawan but she is still only that, a padawan. She has not been deemed worthy of the rank of Knight yet. And she could wait no longer by the way side. Aboard the Nubulan B-2 Frigate Saber Strike vonta heads out in to the universe to find the other force sects of the universe.

She is a new breed of Jedi. She calls her self the observer. And although she is a padawan that only works more to her advantage. For when she finds the peoples she searches for she well be open to the ideas of all.

There is a legend of a old master Morehi. The legendary master of the Aiki. That is her first step on her journey.

She thinks back on the time that she spent at the temple researching the other sects of the Force that had long past into history

Vonta had learned a great deal but wanted to learn more. When she inquired the Holocron on the matter this was the response.

She calms her mind falling into a deep meditation. With a deep concentration she calls on her astral form to help guide her to the first of the Jedi sects she seeks to find the Aiki.

Flash back. The Aiki order was founded by master Morehei a master of jedi fighting techniques. He was considered the best of all the force users. And with out the aid of the fabled light swords of the Old sect.

No the Aiki did not care to use the light saber. The Jedi were a breed of sentients that protected life. Light sabers were weapons that could do little but take life in a battle. So the Aiki developed unarmed force combat. Allowing them to fight bare handed againest light sabers. Aiki were known as a sect that never took a life.

Only a few instances fell short of this. The one most well known is the final battle of master morehei. In witch he killed 10 inquisitors and maimed lord vader. He would have killed him as well if not for the Interference of Palpatine with a flurry of force lightening finally ending the threat of the final Aiki.

The order of the Aiki was all bt wiped out with the exception of one trainee. The trainee with the training of the holocron of the Aiki was the one being that you would least expect to be a Warrior for Peace. He was a Nohgri named Irman Nogar.

Wayland the Nohgri's trial: Warrior of the peace

Mount Tantiss sat in the far distance of the Nohgri colony on the planet of wayland. They came at teh bidding of Lord vader. The savior of the nohgri. They serve lord vader and he protects them and provides them with a new home on the lush new planet.

Irman Nogar was born her during the years just after the construction on the great mount had finished. His people always followed the will of lord vader. But Irman always felt that this was slightly wrong. When he looked at the lord vader and the one in black robes that occasionally visited. Some thing at the very corner of his being told him that this was wrong. The this men were not what the saviours that they claimed to be.

Occasionally in the night he saw a man appear to him. He was not a nohgri. He was far to tall to be one. Always he was clouded in a robe with a hood that drapped over his face. In the dream he tells him of the true history of lord vader.

One night he saw this man fight the lord vader, the robed stranger and 10 warriors weilding weapons simular to Lord vader. In the dream the man was like no one that he had ever seen. With only a staff that seemed to glow he defeated lord vader, killed the 10 other warriors, and was only defeated by fingers of blue light from the robed one.

It was then that he awoke. At the foot of his bed padding there was a blue wraith of the man from his dream. He points up to mount tantiss. "To take my path you must find the ligh bo at mount tantiss."

Irman sits stunned. This was the stuff of legends. "But where do I find it!' The jedi disappears from veiw.

It would be sacralidge to go against the lord. But these dreams and a feeling in him some thing else told him that this ghost was telling the truth. Preparing his armor he starts for the mount.

The trek is long and treacherous. Many storm troopers regularly patrol the area with giant two legged walking beasts. And seats that floated on the air. He had made it a of avoiding them since he was a young one. It was the other Nohgri that patroled the area he worried about. He moved through the forest. As he moved he felt a power in him helping him. He was able to move more quickly that he ever had before, Leap farther, and now the forest as if he were a part of it. He saw his brothers before they ever saw him.

It took hours to reach the mount. ::WHat now?:: He thinks.

The ghost apears again. Pointing to an area of the mountain. Just as quickely as he appeared he was gone. Following the way that he pointed to he found a opening to a cave opened by a tree root that broke open the solid rock in the recent years.

The open was just big enough to enter. The cave was cramped he had to crawl most of the way. But there was a faint light at the end of the tunnel. It was a small crackin a stone wall. With a kick he opened it up. There was some kind of a room before him and the feeling beckoned him on. There was some thing in the room beyond the door that he must get.

A man in red armor spoted him just then. "Stop!!" he was seen. If he gave the man the chance he would call the security of the whole mount on his head. He felt that power that seemed to beckon him. BLade out stretched he covered the distance between them in milliseconds. And before the man uttered another word he had cut him to the chest through a kink in the armor. Pulling the reddened blade out the red armored one droped with a thud.

From him he took a key card. The key to the room some thing told him. Sweeping it through a slot he waits as the door slowly opens. Inside he finds a staff on a pedistol. He takes it with out asecond thought. Leaveing the staff of the red one that he just defeated in it's place. alone with some of his knives it made just the right weight displacement.

Out of the mount he left with the bo. In the forest the ghost appeared to him again. "Take my bo and go to the planet of obrai-skai. There you well find a text that well lead you down the path of the Aiki. Learn our ways well my padawan."

A padawan. He had no way of knowing what that meant but he would surely find out. The supply transport was at the launch padd. His ticket off the planet. several other nohgri had left that way so he knows it can be done. He heads for the ship. Obrai-Skai where is that?

it did not take the nohgri long to sneak on to the ship. Stowing away in the cargo hold. No one saw him as was right. The ship left strait for the Imperial Center (Couruscant). The ship touches down on a landing padd amoung the sky scrappers. For a being that had spent most of his life amoung the trees and forests it was a bit over whelming that this place of canyons and flying ships was actually here.

Even with his surprise he stayed to the shadows. In a store he passed he found a cloak in a window that would serve his purposes. Stepping in he got some strange looks. no one had really ever seens a Nohgri before. So there was some speculation on what he was.

In side a droid helped him to the cloak. When asked how he would pay for it. The nohgri pulled out some gold coins. The droid did not know what to make of it. THe only currency it is programed to take is credits. It was about to turn him down and tell him to leave when the manager walked up to see what was the trouble. A glance at the coins and he excused his protecal droid.

It was a good thing too Irman needed the cloak and thought that he may have to take it by force. The deal made and cloak in hand he heads out into the streets.

There is much to learn here. Spoting some shadier beings heading for a elevator he figured to follow them. Beings that live in the shadows are more to his likeing. Down the lift goes into the depths of the city.

People her looked like the warrior types. Harded by real battle. Unlike those above that seemed to live in luxury. The bars are were he hit first. Asking around he found a transport that would take him to obrai-skai. All around him he was getting strange looks. on his back he carried the light bo wrapped in a cloth and straped to his back. Only the tip of it showed through. A bit of crystal that was tantalyzing to the underworld crowd for the mere fact that it could mean a possible profit.

A group of gammoroneons stepped in his path. They surround him and indicate that they want his staff. The nohgri had no time for this. Killing these would be childs play.

All of a sudden the feeling that he got on wayland came to him. It clawed at his very soul almost bidding him to...to...not kill. He was not to kill. It seemed againest his nature but he went with it. Calmly he asked the large snorting pig like creatures to step aside. They decided against if. One swung at him with a vibro axe. He took the pig beings axe from it's hand in one smooth motion. Grabing it by the head and slamming it into the ground knocking it uncouncious. Two more tried to attack but met his heels in their faces instead of their fists in his flesh. They fall to the ground with a thud. The rest back away not wishing to face him. The man that is to be his ride to Obrai-skai follows hiim bewildered that one person could do all that.

--OBrai-Skai--

Little to do here now but read. This is a planet of scholors not warriors. What use would a warrior have on such a planet? The cloaked blue being continues on. Following that strange feeling that seems to guide him.

He does not know what he is looking for or even where he is really going. All that he knows is that there is some sort of feeling guiding him to some thing. The closer he gets the stronger the feeling gets.

After hours of searching he takes a rest on a stone street. The place that he walked into was quite old. Not like the empirial areas that were dank and dismal but brighter. with smooth angles in all the architecture. The building in front of him seemed some how inviting. So he decides to enter.

Inside he feels so strange as if he had been there before and yet how could he have? He lived his whole life on wayland. Around the area was row upon row of data files. A haven for knowledge. Or a prison for it. Either way it did not matter. The doors in the place seemed to open of their own accord. As if the place was greeting him. The staff at his back begain to grow warm. Looking at it now he sees it is atually glowing.

The air around him seems strange. Just like. "Just like when you first saw me not long ago?" A voice answers him from behind, the blue wraith had returned.

"Who...are you." He asked with cuation in his voice.

He merely smiles at the young warrior. "I am master Morihei. A jedi. Albet a bit dead now, I am afraid to have to admit."

Irman's face twisted with reconition. "YOU were the warrior in my dream that defeated Lord vader and the warriors that fought like him."

The blue wraith smiles a smile that can be seen through. Books line the shelve behind him. "I was."

"You defeated the lord vader hurt him. But lord vader is the master, our saviour." He says the words but with a bit of uncertainty.

"YOu do not sound sure so of that." Morihei comments.

Finding his voice in his doubt, "I was always taught that but some how he feels to dark to be a savior even by my people's standerds." The nohgri way was that of the warrior but the lord still felt wrong.

"Mmm, that he is. Lord vader wipped out the Jedi order a group of people that weilded the light side of the power that vader has, the Force. A living thing that makes up all of the living beings of the universe connecting all things in the universe. I called you here becuase you have a connection to that living force and I want to teack you how to control it. Now I havnt much time left so listen carfully.

This place is where I kept a record on all things about the Aiki order. That is my way of fighting. Learn all that you can from these recordings I left you. The universe well need you some day. Prepare for it Irman. Prepare." With that he vanished.

Leaving the young nohgri alone in the building. Turning to the book shelf he pulls one and begins to read.

20 years the nohgri trained. With out the aid of a master he trained. Through the years master Morehei appeared several times. With aword that gave the nohgri aglimps of the path he needed to take to reach the next steps in his training. What a to except these new ideas as fact took the nohgri a great deal of time. He was a born and raised warrior. And the Aiki were warriors that learned to be some of the strongest jedi of all.

Yey they teach that he must not fight unless the situation is dire. To not confront the enemy but to save it. That violence in any form is wrong. But only when absolutely necessary is it to be used.

One thing a Aiki had over all that he had learned was a superior fighting style. It was like nothing that he had ever seen in his short life so far. He was sure that he could defeat almost any one with these arts. And yet he was not alload to by his Aiki code of conduct.

Wandering all over the planet of Obrai-Skai incognito he found that many of the Aiki ways were more then valid. He helped where he could but only in the smallest of ways. The emporer was still searching for any jedi so most of what he did he did in the forests of the planet using the life of the trees to mask his force abilitys. Life toils on for the Aiki Nohgri. Once a warrior now a warrior monk.

On the planet of Obrai-Ski Irman has waited paciently all these years in hiding. On the librairy world he waits. Over the Years he has had visions of the future a future in witched he would train one padawan in the ways of the Aiki. In the ways of peace.

It was to be a woman of ancient blood and of noble charecter. And he also knew that she would find him.

He sat in his small darkened study. sitting on a classic Jedi meditation padd. The Cussion stood a meter off the ground and had a light cousion attop it. The Little blue man sat cross legged with his back strait as a board.

Nohgri were known as hardened warriors but there was little that was hardened about this one. He had a calm demenor about him a sence of self and one ness in the universe that few possess.

Deep in the force he sought out the future. Who was this woman of the future?

::Aiki:: He hears the name of his sect as if it were an echo.

His essence turns about in the force seeing if he can find the source. :: Aiki,....Aiki I Seek you :: The echo was distinctly feminine.

:: I sense you miliady. You seek me and you have found me. Come to the land of Obrai-ski. Here you well find me and we shall see if you are worthy of your search::

::Yes,......master.:: the voice replied.

Irman pulled back to him self. His student was approaching. And he must prepare for her arrival.

Vonta came to from her trance. In the captain's quarters of the Nubulan B-2 cruiser the Saber strike. She gave her body a small shake. The Aiki were at Obrai-skai. Strange place to hide but where better to hide then in the open?

He stood up slowly and made her way to the com link in her room.

"Captain," She waits his response.

"Yes Ms. Vonta." The captain responds.

"Set course for Obrai-Skai Jump point 0023. And relay the message to the Heaven and the Hell." Vonta had a small fleet of ships. The nubula B2 and two assasain class corvettes. She was going to the planet but she was going alone.

A new master awaits her. Time to find her destiny.

Vonta disembarked from her ships in a lone W-wing fighter. The ship was hyper space capable and able to cloak. She really only needed this ability to maintain the animinity of the AIki master. He had hid himself from the universe this long. So she coul salely assume that he would not want the world to know his presence just now.

The W-wing cam out of hyper space far from the space ways. Heading to the planet the rest of the way on the Mon-cal emissionless sublight engines. The advantage of the W-wing is that she can seek when she cloaks. She headed for the planet riding the wake of a larger ship into the atmosphere.

From there she broke off heading towards a feeling. Some thing was guiding her to a destination. She had a large data base on the planet from her years with the TNA forces. There was a cave systen near here that would allow her to travel with out being seen.

Who was the master that could hide for all these years on this public planet? The question dogged her. The force would have to be her guide. There was little to see here. The planet was a place of scholars and a santuary for most of the wars. Being a place of neutrality normally. Excempt from battle.

She came out of the cave near a city.

She walks through the streets something felt right about the direction that she traveled. Yes quite. Turning a corner she found that she had found her way to a dead end.

"Looking for some thing," Came a voice from behind her. She turned to see over thirty members of some sort of street gang. All dressed in ragged clothing and waring red bandannas. Gang color of choice she assumed.

"Nothing that any of you could help with." She turned to pass them but none of them moved.

The first one that spoke was a bothan. "What." he smirked omoniously," We just want to have some fun."

"Really? I don't think we need to have fun." She starts using a jedi mind trick. He dosn't phase.

"Well say that we do." He states.

Force tricks were not working. The bothan has a stronger mind then she accredited him. Very well. Odds are againest her but what choice does she have but to fight.

She Makes one more attempt to leave peacefully but the bothat decides to grab her this time. A move he would regret. Noxt thing he knows he is flying through the air into two of his comrades. Knocking them to the ground.

"Get her." The bothan cries. They all start screaming for blood. Vonta Uses some force illusions to disappear for a moment. But some stones thrown at her take out her concentration. making her reappear. No time to act only react she draws her two sabers. Forcing them to step back. Out of no where a small bipedal being appears before her. Placeing it self between her and her attackers.

It glows with a blue aura. But especially in the hands. they were like a pair of light sabers. In moments the wraith of a being became a blur of blue. Moving in and out amoung the gang of sentients. He seemed to be every where at once. and no where at the same time. The group runs screaming like they had seen a ghost.

The Aura fades then. And before her stands a Nohgri. But he is different from every other one she had seen most nohgri are always ready for a fight. This one seemed oddly at ease.

"You seek The Aiki." Spoke. Vonta merely nodded.

He returned the nod. "Then come we have much to discuss."

He turned to a wall using the force he moved a section of the wall so that it slide open revealing a door. He entered and vonta followed.

This was a jedi of the old order. NO correction, a jedi padawan of the old order. She was strong but she still carried the braid of a padawan. The woman that he saved is the one that he had awaited for some time now. They enter a stair well that seemed quite ancient. And was it was a place that was founded 700 years ago by master Morehie in secret as a store house for his studies. It was so old that it dod not appear on any of the structual mapps of the city.

They come out into a library of sorts. Light by gentle lights. farther inside is a botanical garden to supply food and oxygen. creating a self contained biosphere. "I am Irman nogar. A student of the Aiki arts." Vonta opened her mouth to speak but he cut her off before she could continue.

"To answer your questions witch you invariably have. I am a student of the Aiki arts through a act of will in the force. I was once a child of wayland. Guardian of the treasures that the emporer left at mount tantiss." Vonta seemed to have some knowledge of the place for she did not ask him any thing about it.

"There Master Morehies Light bo was kept. It for lack of a better word bid me to retrieve it. Then once I had it I was left with a single word in my mind to follow Obrai-skai. I left wayland gained transport to Obrai-Skai from a space port on coruscant and came here. guided to this very place where to my amazment i spoke with the shimmering blue ghost of master Morehie. Apparently I was charged with reviving the Aiki order or at least it's teachings. He left me with only this much to work with, That I must learn all that i can here from the teachings that he left and then I shall wait. For some one to come and guide me to the lost Holocron of the Aiki." He puases, "I believe that that person is you."

It was a revelation to the young woman. That she was charged with such a duty. It was some thing that she found extrodinatry.

They went into a small corridor. A amphitheater of sorts. They entered a pitch blackness.

"Master?" She called out to him. For the area was to dark to see any thing.

Out of the shadows of the temple a deep voice spoke softly.

"THere is no need to yell child. I am here." He paused a moment. "Ah yes you cannot see me. Let me take care of that."

In a flash of light torches came to life instantly, sheding there calming light on a caverous room. At the foot of a Step sat a small greyy being on a pillow. A nohgri sitting cross legged in meditation. Behind him was a statue of another jedi roughly 4 meters tall.

"Come to train as an Aiki do you. Tell me what do you know of the path of the Aiki?" he asks her.

"Very little actually. The way of the Aiki was lost much to history. All that I really know is that it is a non lethal art that is as powerful as it is peaceful." She finished.

He flashes her a small smile.

"That is part of it yes. The Aiki art of fighting favors the use of the body over the use of a weapon like alight saber favored by most.

Though that is only the first part of it. We of this order are masters of fighting. If we wished to do so we could defeat almost all foes that ever come againest us. Although we well not becuase the Aiki way is to master the body so that you may help the oppressed only as a last resort.

Before you turn to that you must use your mind to solve the problem. Use every last method that you can without resorting to violence. And even when you must fight we fight with restrant and mercy. Even to our worst enemys."

"Now young one that you know of my order what do you know of the force so far. Have you had any masters or training already?"
" I am a halcyon by birth. So my training involves that of the mind mostly. I am skilled in force illusions, energy absorbtion and redirection, and dimensional phaseing.

Master Organa Solo was my master in the Old arts. But...." She puases, "I do wish to learn ways to fight that do not require the use of a light saber."

"That is one thing that i can teach you but I can also teach you how to further your self in the force. An Aiki has no need for a light saber. His body is his weapon with the aid of the force. " Standing from his meditaition pillow.

"I assume you Have a light saber?"

She unhooks the two cylinders at her side. " Yes master. Two in fact."

Standing now the master speaks. "Now activate it and attack me with it. Do not mind that I am un armed just do as I say."

Vonta hesitated for a split second. She had never attacked an unarmed opponent. But then again, she had never attacked a Master either. One saber would do. She cliped her second.

She raised her saber high, feinting to the left and then swinging the blade around suddenly to Master Nogar's right side.

The feint was easy enough to see. Quickly she changed to his right. Raising his hands in a grace full manner he parryed her light saber with his bare hands. Sweeping the saber past his right side.

Vonta Finished her follow through with the saber shuting it down as she stood behind the master.

She thought to her self ::He blocked the saber with his bare hands????!!::

He read her astonsihment and continued the lesson, "That is the basis of the Aiki martial arts. Fighting with out the aid of technology yet still being effective.

There are a few dictates you must know before we start/

First, we do not relie on technology. Although we do not believe it is evil we do believe that it can become a crutch to lean on.

Second, under no circumstances except for the most dire do you ever kill with the aiki arts.

Third, do all that you can to avoid conflict before you act. The old masters would say that it is foolish to start acting at all. That being as proactive as the Jedi knights is to much and is wrong.

Times change though and with them so shall we. We help those that need our help and give it freely with out expecting repayment." He turns to his padawan.

"The first order of your training is for the duration of your time here you turn your light sabers over to me." he takes a wooden staff in hand. " And replace it with this."

Vonta had no objections if a padawan learns any thing it is to not question the masters. At least not immediatly. She handed over her personally constructed light saber and her grand mother's multi phasic saber takeing the replacment weapon of the staff.

"You saw what I did with my hands?" He waited for a nod from her.

"Well I well teach you to first to that to the staff and then to your self. The staff is your first step."

"I've never fought with one of these before. Could you show me some moves?"

*She handed the staff back to him.*

Taking the staff in hand he proceded to spin it so that it appeared to be more of a disk then a single long staff of wood. He spins his body with the weapon moving with the weapon. As he strikes to his right he kicks left.

Holding the stick at the end he procedes to weild it like a long saber using the stick at centre. He makes continuous moments as though fencing with a person with a normal light saber.

In a flash he changes up holding the staff at the mid section with two hands.

"The staff is a better weapon in my opinion. With it it is far harder to kill." He sees some doubt still in his students eyes.

"The Aiki arts are not also with out their power." Turning around he closes his eyes in concentration. The staffs end begins to glow.

With his left foot he kicks up a fist sized stone. And with the staff in both hands he procedes to connect the glowing end with the rock pulverizing it.

"This is a deadly use of the Aiki power charged the staff can knock a person to the ground or blow through a bulk head. Depending on the charge This is a skill I well teach you later in your training. There is much that you must learn first."

He tosses the staff back to her. He pulls out a satchel of twigs. "This shall be your first lesson." He pulls one from the satchel. "alone the twig is brital liable to break." He snaps the twig with a finger.

"But empowered by the force. " A field of force around the twig. making it glow. He procedes to try and break it but it well not.

He hands it to her. "Try it for a time. I well return soon to see how you are proceding." At that he moves back to his area in front of the statue begining meditation again.

Vonta stood with the sticks in her hands, more than a little confused. She had never created a force field around objects before. Gathering the sticks together she closed her eyes envisoning a barrier around them. Slowly she opened her eyes to find that nothing had happened.

Perhaps it was similar to the skill used by Jedi to block blaster bolts with their hands. She had never been particularly good at this trick but once again she closed her eyes this time willing the sticks to become like an extension of her hand thereby spreading the Force in her own body around the sticks. This time when she opened her eyes she found that a few of the sticks were glowing but not all. She then tried to break them and the ones that were not glowing snapped immediately. But no matter how hard she tried to bend them the glowing sticks stayed whole.

Several hours later Master Irman comes out of his trance to see how his padawan fares. She is still hard at work. The mere fact that she still had some of the sticks was a good sign. She had not broken them all in a failed attempt.

:: So she has succeeded. But to what degree. ::

"My Padawan how have you faired?" He inquires wanting to hear it from her first.

Vonta looked up at her Master as if just noticing that he was there, she was in such deep concentration.

"I have discovered how to create the force-shield around the sticks, however I am having trouble controlling so many objects at once. Perhaps I need to think of them all as one entity instead of individual sticks."

She raised one of her eyebrows in a questioning glance.

"I am sure that you have heard this before. The words of a legendary master. 'Do or do not there is no try.' the force exists in every thing. The sticks are not many things in the force but one thing.

See only the force and you well succeed." waiting to see her response.

Vonta nodded, gathering all of the sticks together including the broken halves. She then reached down inside her and found her center. It was a light so bright that it threatened to blind her. But it wasn't enough just to see it. She merged with it, became the light itself and then imagined herself expanding to cover her whole body and the sticks. She opened her eyes and gasped to find that her body and the sticks were surrounded by a bright blue aura.

"What did I just do?" she asked in awe.

The Aiki master was a bit surprised. This hew student had tapped into another ability that he did not expect to see this soon.

"You tapped a little deeper then I was requireing. Instead of merely empowering the sticks you created a force sheild around your self. It was uncontroled but we can work on that." He was mumbling some to him self.

"Go, very good." He give himself a shake, turning back to her.

"Now we well expand on that later. For now I want you to take the staff. And focus the light that you found onto the staff. Surround it as if the staff were another part of you that you need to fill.."

Vonta was undaunted. SHe focused her power. The staff was on thing to focus on where the twigs were many. Closing her eyes she focused as she did on the twigs. The staff was larger but not much different. The feelings extended through her. There. She opened her eyes to see the staff glowing.

Wth a nodd he continues. "Creating the feild is the easy part. Maintaining it takes a bit more time to master.

He takes alonger twig and empowers it. "Now defend your self."

He strikes fast. Forceing her to parry from the right. Then he immediatly changes to the left. Then the middle constantly keeping her guess of his moves.

VOnta was hard pressed to match the Master's moves. She suddendly brought her foot up to strike at the side of his head while taking the staff and trying to sweep his legs out from under him.

Irman Moved like water, fluidly moving under the foot that was trying to connect with his head and at the same time using his single twig to block her contact at his feet. A small jump and spin in mid air and he was over the staff. He kept pushing her to maintain combat readiness and maintain the staffs field at the same time.

The strain of concentration was begining to show already.

Beads of sweat formed on Vonta's forehead and trickled down the side of her face. The light around the staff started to flicker and in her haste to strength the shield her concentration faltered and she left herself open to attack. Master Nogar darted in and jabbed her in the stomach with his stick. Not hard enough to cause any damage but it knocked the wind out of her and she staggered back.*

"Enough," He calls a halt to the spar.

"You must learn the meditation techniques, Come metitate with me." He directs her to the spot where he sat in front of the statue.

Vonta followed him over and found a cushion on which to sit in front of the statue. She then closed her eyes and concentrated on clearing her mind.

Irman is confident that this one is already near the Aiki path. All that she needs is some direction. In his meditation he allows her to share his senses of the force. Taking hers into him as well. Now he begins to shift in and out of a Aiki force sheild. Making him appear to flcker in the torch light.

Vonta at first found it strange and more than a little unnerving to be so closely bonded to another but soon she relaxed allowing the Force to guide both of them. With Master Nogar's help she was able to see more clearly how he created the force sheild and soon there was a brightness about her as well.

He kept this up for many hours. Making and then losing the force sheild. Giving his knowledge of the change to her.

Vonta did not know how long they sat there like that but when she opened her eyes the chamber was noticeably dimmer. She turned to find her Master staring at her, a small kind smile forming on his face.

He felt her afinity to what he was teaching. "This is the first step to the form of Aiki young one. The aura that we creat also acts to solidify a stronger link to the living force.

I am sure that you have heard of battle trance. The Aiki martial arts naturally have this effect. Becuase we do not seek to ever take life, the force rewards us with unsurpassed ability in the force. Unlike most arts that take a great deal of concentration to maintain the Aiki ways once learned flow easily in us. "

"Now I want you to focus now as you did with the staff." He sees her reach for it but he holds her hand up to halt her. "But with only your hands. Feel the light it should be all around you at least faintly but it is visible at the hands becuase it is the strongest there."

"As you do this feel the force flow with you. Call on it like it is a extension of your very being."

Once again Vonta closed her eyes finding the bright center that was part her, part the force. This was much like absorbing energy to rechannel. But in this case the pool was always full. She was drawing directly from the sea of force energy. She opens her eyes to see that she is glowing, her entire body is glowing!

But this is not what is is after

Closing her eyes again she channeled the light to concentrate in her hands but at the same time not taking it away completely from the rest of her being.

"Remember do all that is required is that you believe that you can and you shall. Just like any aspect of the force." He spoke as he watched her try and struggle with the skill.

Vonta nodded. Perhaps that really was all that was keeping her from completing her tasks fully. She calmed herself, pushed all her doubts to the far corners of her mind. Then she concentrated on focusing the flow of the force onto her hands.

She opened her eyes to see her hands glowing a bright white.

He answers with a nodd of approval. "Now my student, Defend your self." He whips out her light saber. Igniting it and striking at here almost with out warning.

The new link with the force that she has just established should make her more then weary enough to know what to do here and now.

Vonta nearly lost her concentration due to fear as the lightsaber came toward her. The aura around her hands started to flicker threatening to go out. She quickly pushed down her fear. Fear is of the darkside. She knew she had better get things under control before she got a hand chopped off.

She threw up her left hand to swat the saber away. The saber was pushed about a foot away, however her concentration had faltered enough for her to get badly burned.

She grimmaced, clutched her hand against her.

The master stoped and frowned. "You well recieve your light saber again when you have conquered your fear of it. At witch time you well not relie on it."

He takes her hand that was burned. With a moment of concentration he heals it through the force. "The staff well do for now then. Take it in hand and prepare to spare."

The master took up a Kendo stick. It would do for his purposes. In a moment the sword shaped peice of wood was glowing.

Vonta bowed to her Master.

"Forgive me Master, I allowed my doubt to overtake me. It won't happen again."

She hosted up her staff holding it out horizontally in front of her in both hands. She concentrated and soon her staff was glowing as well with the empowerment of the force. Vonta took a few practice twirls and swings and then took up a denfensive stance awaiting her Master's move.

:: She must learn not to fear the weapon of the Jedi order. When using the ways of the Aiki one can not fear it.:: He thinks to him self.

He makes a bow to his padawan. Bending his knees he holds his empowered blade below his waist and pointed towards the ground. The weapons in this case are empowered so that they do not break their weapons in combat.

Striking like lightening he Sweeps he blade like stick at her mid section.

Vonta was feeling more relaxed now, blocked his blow with ease, using her body weight to push him back a little. She uses the staff like a polevaulting stick and sails over his head and in mid-air strikes at his backside. Without even turning around Irman blocked her strike, then spun around thrusting towards her with the end of the staff. Vonta ducked and at the same time swung her staff around to sweep his legs out from under him.

He gives a little smile. She was learning fast. She twisted to avoid his thrust at her upper body. While he did a one handed barrel roll over the staff. Landing in a low stance with his knees bent he begins striking low. He swings his legs in a leg sweep twice. Keeping his blade over his head to prepare to block any expected attacks from above.

Vonta did a dive roll to the left to avoid his sweeps. Then she immediately leaped to her feet and blocked a downward thrust of his while kicking her leg out to strike him in the chest, forcing him back a few feet.

He smiles inwardly. She feels the force more strongly now. Her reactions sharpen with every passing moment. The blue aura around her strengthens the bond of sentient and force user until the force becomes some thing that is second nature. Even more so then most of the teachings of the Old order jedi.

She glowed with a blue aura of quiet power. Focused mainly on her glowing staff. Now she should begin to feel his weaknesses in the force. The pattern of his movments and where she should exploit them. He does not let up but pushes slightly harder. Feel my actions decylpher where you can find my weakness in body or technique.

He Presses forward a moment Spining the staff in a way that could connect at wny point if his padawan was not on her toes to avoid it. Spining the staff all around his body he Jumps in mid air to gain momentum. When the staff comes behind his head he grasps it by it's end bringing a meter and a half of staff slaming towards his padawan.

She rolled forward beneath him, his staff hitting the floor where she had been but seconds before. Taking her staff she was able to get a hit to his backside.

He fell to a knee. She had managed to best him with a staff. This was good progress. He stood and called a halt to this training.

"Now my padawan I want you to discribe what you just felt as you went through this excercise. And I would like you to compare it to what you have experienced in other types of force training." The Aiki way empowered one more than any other style. But the key to unlocking the full potential of the Aiki was to know the difference between it and other force arts.

Vontas Expression was on eof deep concentration she was considering the question carefully.

"In the old arts of light saber combat I always have the knowledge that I could take a life but with the Aiki ways I find that that is less of a threat or possiblity. And ......... it almost feels like I can use the force a bit more easily."

"you are correct. You discribe the physical differences witch follow the mental differences. Where as a Jedi order force user uses abilities that can be deadly the Aiki do not. Their for the feeling and strength that we draw from the force is much stronger then that of many other force disciplines."

It was growing late in his padawans training. Now it would seem that she may be ready for the trials soon.

-He pulls the cylindrical object from his robe. One of Vonta's light sabers.-

"Now, my learner. It is time that we face your fear once again." He raised the hilt with the blade unignited. This was the one thing that held her back at this point. Now she must face it again."

He attacks her with a deadly speed. But this time she move with the instincts of the force to guide her. Instanly she fall into her pool of energy and empowers her staff.

Irman seeks to test her further. He uses a drop kick to bring her feet off the ground. He blocks a parry with the empowered staff and kicks her in the mid section knocking her back and useing the light sabers leverage he rips the staff from her hands.

Now she has only her hands to defend her self. The Young womans hands flicker and glow. He attacks and this time she parrys with a blade like palm glowing blue. He attacks left and then right and she continues the parrys. This gos on for some time. Until the master calls it to a halt.

"Enough!" He holds up his hands. "You have done well young one. But I sense that you have learned all that you can from me here."

"But master I...." She feels the force calling her. "Yes I under stand master."

He beckons her with his hand. "Come I have some thing to give you first." He heads through the passage ways that have been his home over the years of isolation. Coming to a decorated arch way he passes through and into a librairy of sorts. Only not electronic in nature. They were printed on a binded plastic of sorts. Like ancient flimsiplaste.

He takes one valume. "This is a record of the higher levels of the Aiki ways learn from it what you can as you make your journey."

She takes it in hand. She looks comtemplative. "Come with me master the universe is a different place now and needs beings like you."

"Perhaps child in time. For now Take this as well. It holds a mapp that well lead you to the home of the Teepo Paladins. I sense that you may have need of their skills soon. Fair thee well my young apprentice and from this day forth be known as a knight of the Aiki order as well as a padawan of the old order."

Vonta left under the cover of night in he cloaked fighter. Two light sabers in hand with a book of Aiki knowledge, a mapp for her next quest and a kendo stick. Well the Old order well certainly be in for a surprise when she returned.

At that she make the jump to meet with the rest of her ships.

She recieved a new communique from the Alderaanian guard on Drewwa. The have been busy. Toryn Sabreen one of her best guard students when she was helping to train the guard turned out to be a Teras Kasi master in disguise. He is now in the process of gathering force strong allies in the Battle for peace in the universe.

The Teras Kasi order have centurys of knowledge to draw upon. So far they have Gained the help of the Jensaarrai and are looking for the help on the Aing-ti.

The Jensaarrai. That would seem like a good place to train for a time. And then the Teras Kasi. She well continue on. She must.

The X-wing fighter cut hyper space cutting to real space in a halo of lined stars.

Susevfi was not supposed to exist. It never even came up on star charts or sensor sweeps done by probes and long rage sensors. The ability to force cloak was the greatest strength of the jensarrai. With enough of them they could hide an entire planet from the universe at large.

From her snub fighter she transmitted the Teras kasi code in greating. R5 was beeping like mad complaing that they were in the middle of nowhere. His visual sensors did not pic up the planet at all but vonta could with organic eyes. The amount of force out put here was impressive she felt it even from her fighter that was near the orbit.

"Greetings Aiki-Jedi the Teras Kasi master told us of your arrival please come in on vecter ....." He rang out a flight path verbally. She punched in the coordinates and set the auto pilot.

Now it well begin. She Wanted to be relaxed and ready for her first meeting with the Sara-karra. The leader of all the people of the Jensaarai. So she went into a Aiki meditation trance. Allowing her body to gloy with force energys while she waited for the craft to land.

She set down in a dusty clearing. There seemed to be no one about the area but she still felt force presences about her. She was clad in her jedi atire. Light saber at her side and Akendo wooden sword at her back.

R5 wanted out as well. But some thing did not feel right. All about her the area rustled. She felt like she was being hunted as prey.

She drew on the force and heard a quick snap his of a light saber. A person clad in Armor came at her with his saber high. The mask he wore was that of a cat. The attacker was swift but not swit enough. She Knew that they wore cortosis armor but she had no need for a saber. Auto matically she went into Aiki force combat mode. Her hands glowing with force energys.

He made a slice that she easily dodged. The second strike came and vonta simply swated the saber to the side. Spining around she grabs the being by the wrist in one swift move she flips him over her head disarming him of his saber at the same time.

Another danger sense warning came from above. She looked up to see a being fall from a glider that hung above. The new attacker was clad in feathers as if the person imitated a bird.

She brought the confiscated saber to bare blocking the saber as the bird armored warrior used gravity to his/her utmost advantage. The two turned on their heels bringing the two sabers to bare and crossing with a hum of the cutting blades.
A kick to the head ends her threat. Sending he flying backwards.

She deactivated her acuired light saber and took out her Akendo blade. She empowered it and stood fast. three more warriors emerge. Calling on Aiki battle senses she wades into them. Her empowered blade and hands allowing her to weave among them. The sabers were a disadvantage in close combat. When she ducks she manages to have one his another and deactivate that saber. A strike from a Force empowered fist ends their threat then.

The two that she had allready downed were regaining their senses.

five on one were not great oddes but she should manage.

CLoseing her eyes she mutiplys in their minds. She creats the illusion of five vontas. Each one looks real to them. They look confused for a moment but then one of them calls for them to all chose one and attack. They encircled the vontas.

"Enough!!" A loud voice called out.

The warriors surrounding vonta all froze in place deactivating their sabers.

vonta in turn faded back to a single being. TUrning around she looks at the source of the voice. An old woman. One with a commanding presence at that as well.

The new woman spoke. " Good, good, you were trained well Jedi horn. Or is it Aiki Horn now?" She inquired.

"I go by observer these days Miliady." She made a bow to this new force and she was a force she felt her she was powerful. One of the most powerful she had felt in her life.

" Master Sarrai-Kara." The group of warriors seemed taken aback with surprise. Purhaps at the fact that she knew who she was or becuase she held out so well. She could not tell witch.

" Mmmm yes. I am sorry about the welcome but you said that you needed training soon. So I required a test of your abilities. Needless to say I am impressed. What was that you did with your hands and that blade you carry?" She asks.

"It is Aiki unarmed combat master. Of the old Aiki order." She answers tactly.

"Yes you may have some thing to teach us as well Apprentice. You well train directly with me Ms. Horn." She gestures for her to follow. "You have much to learn."

The two head for the mountainous area near vontas landing site. Cyper followed close behind her.

"So," The Sarrai-Kara began, " Master Sabreen of the Teras Kasi has told me much of your journeys. That you are looking for a way to rediscover the old ways of the jedi and other force sects. That You believe that you need to do so becuse of a vision of the future where the Jedi fall and with the the universe."

Vonta was indulent for a moment she had not expected Toryn to have filled in the Queen mother this well before her first visit. There was little that she needed to say now.

The Refined looking woman looked at her new pupil with curioius eyes. " Tell me then of your learnings so far then."

Vonta did not know where to begin. She recounted her innitial years in the rebellion. Where her powers were in their infancy but she was at least well aware of them. Of the years when a former Imperial royal guards man Greyy Trespe happened to discover the fact that she had these special gifts and was that first to help her push those abilities to their limits. And through the alderaanian teaching s of his home planet instruct her in her first lessons of stayying towards the light. Although at that time she had no idea of what the light and dark sides of the force were.

She only knew that she had some sort of power. After the end of the empire there came a time of peace and the jedi ushered in the times. There were many force strong and word went out accross the galexy that the jedi were looking for beings with special gifts that set them appart from normal beings.

WEll suffice it to say that vonta surely fell into that catagorie. So off she went with nothing but her wits and soilders training to guide her she entered into the jedi academy under master Leia Organa Solo. There she learned to expand her horizons in the force. Training was a great task that she met with a vigor. Expanding on her mental abilities. And energy absorbtion and redirection. She mastered astral projection and mental telepathy. But For some reason she was never deemed ready for knight hood.

She was years into her training but she was yet a padawan. With out the right to move out into the universe to make good as a full jedi. Then in a vision she felt that there was a horible force coming forth from the universe. One that the jedi order would be illprepared for. The new order of the jedi were doing their best but had lost most of what they learned in the past. The ancient ways were lost to them.

If the order was to survive then some one needed to search out the old ways.

"In some ways the force must be guiding me along a path, Toryn Sabreen the teras Kasi master was the first that I met. From him I learned the ways of the Teras Kasi. So that I maybe strong even with out the force." The queen mother seemed a bit surprised at that.

"Oh yes there are living creatures out there that are capable of negating the force. I want to be prepared for them." She went on then.

"My first quest took me on a search for the Aiki order. They were al but wiped out in the empirial cleansings. But I felt that there was one that may still exist. The force guided my hand and through it I found a old master that lived as a hermit to avoid the empire." A smile came to her face then.

"His name was Master Irman Nogar of the Aiki Order. The last diciple of the Aiki order and last padawan of Master Morehie the founder of the AIki order. I spent several months training there. Learning the ways of the aiki and growing stronger for it." She looked up. "I left master Nogar on Obrai-ski. He said that he was waiting for a pupil to come in all the days that he waited. And that I was that pupil. The one that would revive the ways of the Aiki."

It wayed heavily on her that Master Irman put that much faith in her.

"But I must continue on and he aggreed with me. So here I am master. Now a student of the Jensaarai."

The Sarrai-Kara pondered these words for a time. "Yes you are indeed power ful young one. Your combat skills are far beyond that of any apprentice I have taught as of yet. But there is more to the ways of the Jensaarai then combat. As you undoubtably know through your recent travels and experiences."

"Now my apprentice what does being a jedi mean to you?" She asks vonta.

The answer was not an easy one based on all that she had learned. "Being a jedi means....It means protecting the innocent at all costs. Even your enemy from them selves if you can.

To never take life ever. IT is a blemish in the force that I can no longer abide by." She knows that this is her answer but what well her master think.

Looking away from her she speaks with her deep womanly voice. One that commands respect. "You grasp the ways of the Jensaarai in your words young one. The Jensaarai above all else stand for protection of each other and our families. Unlike the jedi we do not want to be active in the universe we only want to protect our home from out siders."

"Yes you are ready for our lessons. Come, Come." She gestures for vonta to follow. "There is much to do."

The pair of women sit in a candle lit room. It has been padded to be sound proof. In here all is quiet.

"Now my apprentice we well learn what it means to be a Jensaarai. And to do that you must know our history." She closed her eyes creating a mind link with Apprentice Horn.

Visions of the history of the Jensaarai appear as she knows the old stories and history passed through the years.

Visions of the Original Jedi settleing the area coming to escape the persucution of the old ways upon them. Here they came to make a safe home for them all. But it did not last. The Warriors from the old jedi order came for them. Their masters fought them off nobly but in the end it did not matter. All of them fell to the jedi.

The masters dealt with they left the planet not knowing that there were apprentices from the planet that had been taught the ways of the force. They continued on with their teachings. Living and working as they believed that their masters would have wanted them too.

The one thing that all Jensaarai feared was being found by the jedi again. So the society developed around the Idea of protecting their society by hideing. The Defenders scattered all about the space stations surrounding the planet project a field of force energy that makes them invisible to all electronic devices. None may find them.

"This is our way. All that we do we do to protect our home. To be Jensaarai you must learn to protect what is dear to you. With out that you well not be fit for the power of our ways.

Tell me young one what do you fight for. " She questions.

Vonta Considered the answer to that question. "I fight for the sake of the universe master. If I do not protect it then all the people that I hold dear well suffer. And I cannot allow that." She thinks of her family, the one that was killed so long ago and the one that she has made for her self over the years.

Greyy Trespe and other members of the fighter corp. in the Rebellion againest the empire. Her droids A1, B2, D4, Zed Nine and even the renegade C4. Master Irman Nogar who trained her in the Aiki ways most recently. No she well not lose them.

The images and feelings that she is evoking appear in the link with the Sarrai-Karra.

"Yes.....I see. You have some thing to defend. Knowing that is your first step into the order of the Jensaarai." She left it at that leaving vonta in the room to meditate on the matter for a time.

The sea of the force was opening ever more to vonta. She felt the way of the jensaarai through the emphasise on defense. Defending at all costs.

She wished that she defend all of her friends but not even a jedi can do that al the time.

The old woman enters. "Now we have your first lesson. The art of Force cloak."

She turns and gestures to the stars through a skylight. It is night and the sky is a black ebony blaket of black and bright stars shining like jewels. " We Jensaarai protect our home from the ravages of the universe with this importan skill. No device made by hand can detect us with Force cloak up. Only the natural senses born of the force such as your own sight."

"Now breath in Feel as the force flows through you. Feel out the universe at large feel the power of the jensaarai using force cloak to defend our home from detection as I speak. Let the force hide you from the universe and give you the strength to sit in peace from the technological universe. "

Vonta is in full meditation now. The old leader feels as vonta falls into the force rythme of the force cloak around the planet. As she adds her own strength to it. Yes. This one was unique.

This one is the observer of The Jedi order. Vonta the Jedi Observer.

Two weeks is what it took vonta to master the force cloak technique. Faster then most of her defenders. Now they move on to another Tradition. The art of Armor making.

"Now my apprentice like the light saber the armor of the jensaarai is a device made with the force. We link to it to creat it. As you do not have the telekinnesis to weave it with we well focus on force melding with your own energys."

She held a spool of cortosis fibers. "This is your material the cortosis fibers native to out planet. Now you must also chose your guardian spirit animal. Who you well build your armor after and based on." She felt the padawan making a decision.

"A Eagle well fit me well master." SHe was a pilot and her spirit must always fly.

It would take her the better part of three weeks to master this art. With out telekinisis the going was hard. But she managed when it was all done with she had a armor of feathers. Her helmet had a Look of a eagles head with macro binoculars built in. She had the Idea of adding wings to it but she wanted to add those later with some more technological help.

Training had come to an end sooner the the old master had anticipated posible for one so young. Vonta was in her training opinion a full fledged defender now. With a power and battle experience to match any of her own defender.

"It has been a honor to teach you Observer Jedi." Vonta sat in her Xwing with r5 Behind her complaning that he wanted to get some where that his sensors would work properally again.

She shot a smile to her teacher. "Always master And if the Jensaarai need assistance inthe future do not hesistate to call on me. For I well come to defend."

At that the two part ways. The Sarrai-Karra is curious of what this one may do in the future. Only the force knows this.

From her snub fighter she transmitted the Teras kasi code in greating. R5 was beeping like mad complaing that they were in the middle of nowhere. His visual sensors did not pic up the planet at all but vonta could with organic eyes. The amount of force out put here was impressive she felt it even from her fighter that was near the orbit.

"Greetings Aiki-Jedi the Teras Kasi master told us of your arrival please come in on vecter ....." He rang out a flight path verbally. She punched in the coordinates and set the auto pilot.

Now it well begin. She Wanted to be relaxed and ready for her first meeting with the Sara-karra. The leader of all the people of the Jensaarai. So she went into a Aiki meditation trance. Allowing her body to gloy with force energys while she waited for the craft to land.

She set down in a dusty clearing. There seemed to be no one about the area but she still felt force presences about her. She was clad in her jedi atire. Light saber at her side and Akendo wooden sword at her back.

R5 wanted out as well. But some thing did not feel right. All about her the area rustled. She felt like she was being hunted as prey.

She drew on the force and heard a quick snap his of a light saber. A person clad in Armor came at her with his saber high. The mask he wore was that of a cat. The attacker was swift but not swit enough. She Knew that they wore cortosis armor but she had no need for a saber. Auto matically she went into Aiki force combat mode. Her hands glowing with force energys.

He made a slice that she easily dodged. The second strike came and vonta simply swated the saber to the side. Spining around she grabs the being by the wrist in one swift move she flips him over her head disarming him of his saber at the same time.

Another danger sense warning came from above. She looked up to see a being fall from a glider that hung above. The new attacker was clad in feathers as if the person imitated a bird.

She brought the confiscated saber to bare blocking the saber as the bird armored warrior used gravity to his/her utmost advantage. The two turned on their heels bringing the two sabers to bare and crossing with a hum of the cutting blades.
A kick to the head ends her threat. Sending he flying backwards.

She deactivated her acuired light saber and took out her Akendo blade. She empowered it and stood fast. three more warriors emerge. Calling on Aiki battle senses she wades into them. Her empowered blade and hands allowing her to weave among them. The sabers were a disadvantage in close combat. When she ducks she manages to have one his another and deactivate that saber. A strike from a Force empowered fist ends their threat then.

The two that she had allready downed were regaining their senses.

five on one were not great oddes but she should manage.

CLoseing her eyes she mutiplys in their minds. She creats the illusion of five vontas. Each one looks real to them. They look confused for a moment but then one of them calls for them to all chose one and attack. They encircled the vontas.

"Enough!!" A loud voice called out.

The warriors surrounding vonta all froze in place deactivating their sabers.

vonta in turn faded back to a single being. TUrning around she looks at the source of the voice. An old woman. One with a commanding presence at that as well.

The new woman spoke. " Good, good, you were trained well Jedi horn. Or is it Aiki Horn now?" She inquired.

"I go by observer these days Miliady." She made a bow to this new force and she was a force she felt her she was powerful. One of the most powerful she had felt in her life.

" Master Sarrai-Kara." The group of warriors seemed taken aback with surprise. Purhaps at the fact that she knew who she was or becuase she held out so well. She could not tell witch.

" Mmmm yes. I am sorry about the welcome but you said that you needed training soon. So I required a test of your abilities. Needless to say I am impressed. What was that you did with your hands and that blade you carry?" She asks.

"It is Aiki unarmed combat master. Of the old Aiki order." She answers tactly.

"Yes you may have some thing to teach us as well Apprentice. You well train directly with me Ms. Horn." She gestures for her to follow. "You have much to learn."

The two head for the mountainous area near vontas landing site. Cyper followed close behind her.

"So," The Sarrai-Kara began, " Master Sabreen of the Teras Kasi has told me much of your journeys. That you are looking for a way to rediscover the old ways of the jedi and other force sects. That You believe that you need to do so becuse of a vision of the future where the Jedi fall and with the the universe."

Vonta was indulent for a moment she had not expected Toryn to have filled in the Queen mother this well before her first visit. There was little that she needed to say now.

The Refined looking woman looked at her new pupil with curioius eyes. " Tell me then of your learnings so far then."

Vonta did not know where to begin. She recounted her innitial years in the rebellion. Where her powers were in their infancy but she was at least well aware of them. Of the years when a former Imperial royal guards man Greyy Trespe happened to discover the fact that she had these special gifts and was that first to help her push those abilities to their limits. And through the alderaanian teaching s of his home planet instruct her in her first lessons of stayying towards the light. Although at that time she had no idea of what the light and dark sides of the force were.

She only knew that she had some sort of power. After the end of the empire there came a time of peace and the jedi ushered in the times. There were many force strong and word went out accross the galexy that the jedi were looking for beings with special gifts that set them appart from normal beings.

WEll suffice it to say that vonta surely fell into that catagorie. So off she went with nothing but her wits and soilders training to guide her she entered into the jedi academy under master Leia Organa Solo. There she learned to expand her horizons in the force. Training was a great task that she met with a vigor. Expanding on her mental abilities. And energy absorbtion and redirection. She mastered astral projection and mental telepathy. But For some reason she was never deemed ready for knight hood.

She was years into her training but she was yet a padawan. With out the right to move out into the universe to make good as a full jedi. Then in a vision she felt that there was a horible force coming forth from the universe. One that the jedi order would be illprepared for. The new order of the jedi were doing their best but had lost most of what they learned in the past. The ancient ways were lost to them.

If the order was to survive then some one needed to search out the old ways.

"In some ways the force must be guiding me along a path, Toryn Sabreen the teras Kasi master was the first that I met. From him I learned the ways of the Teras Kasi. So that I maybe strong even with out the force." The queen mother seemed a bit surprised at that.

"Oh yes there are living creatures out there that are capable of negating the force. I want to be prepared for them." She went on then.

"My first quest took me on a search for the Aiki order. They were al but wiped out in the empirial cleansings. But I felt that there was one that may still exist. The force guided my hand and through it I found a old master that lived as a hermit to avoid the empire." A smile came to her face then.

"His name was Master Irman Nogar of the Aiki Order. The last diciple of the Aiki order and last padawan of Master Morehie the founder of the AIki order. I spent several months training there. Learning the ways of the aiki and growing stronger for it." She looked up. "I left master Nogar on Obrai-ski. He said that he was waiting for a pupil to come in all the days that he waited. And that I was that pupil. The one that would revive the ways of the Aiki."

It wayed heavily on her that Master Irman put that much faith in her.

"But I must continue on and he aggreed with me. So here I am master. Now a student of the Jensaarai."

The Sarrai-Kara pondered these words for a time. "Yes you are indeed power ful young one. Your combat skills are far beyond that of any apprentice I have taught as of yet. But there is more to the ways of the Jensaarai then combat. As you undoubtably know through your recent travels and experiences."

"Now my apprentice what does being a jedi mean to you?" She asks vonta.

The answer was not an easy one based on all that she had learned. "Being a jedi means....It means protecting the innocent at all costs. Even your enemy from them selves if you can.

To never take life ever. IT is a blemish in the force that I can no longer abide by." She knows that this is her answer but what well her master think.

Looking away from her she speaks with her deep womanly voice. One that commands respect. "You grasp the ways of the Jensaarai in your words young one. The Jensaarai above all else stand for protection of each other and our families. Unlike the jedi we do not want to be active in the universe we only want to protect our home from out siders."

"Yes you are ready for our lessons. Come, Come." She gestures for vonta to follow. "There is much to do."

The pair of women sit in a candle lit room. It has been padded to be sound proof. In here all is quiet.

"Now my apprentice we well learn what it means to be a Jensaarai. And to do that you must know our history." She closed her eyes creating a mind link with Apprentice Horn.

Visions of the history of the Jensaarai appear as she knows the old stories and history passed through the years.

Visions of the Original Jedi settleing the area coming to escape the persucution of the old ways upon them. Here they came to make a safe home for them all. But it did not last. The Warriors from the old jedi order came for them. Their masters fought them off nobly but in the end it did not matter. All of them fell to the jedi.

The masters dealt with they left the planet not knowing that there were apprentices from the planet that had been taught the ways of the force. They continued on with their teachings. Living and working as they believed that their masters would have wanted them too.

The one thing that all Jensaarai feared was being found by the jedi again. So the society developed around the Idea of protecting their society by hideing. The Defenders scattered all about the space stations surrounding the planet project a field of force energy that makes them invisible to all electronic devices. None may find them.

"This is our way. All that we do we do to protect our home. To be Jensaarai you must learn to protect what is dear to you. With out that you well not be fit for the power of our ways.

Tell me young one what do you fight for. " She questions.

Vonta Considered the answer to that question. "I fight for the sake of the universe master. If I do not protect it then all the people that I hold dear well suffer. And I cannot allow that." She thinks of her family, the one that was killed so long ago and the one that she has made for her self over the years.

Greyy Trespe and other members of the fighter corp. in the Rebellion againest the empire. Her droids A1, B2, D4, Zed Nine and even the renegade C4. Master Irman Nogar who trained her in the Aiki ways most recently. No she well not lose them.

The images and feelings that she is evoking appear in the link with the Sarrai-Karra.

"Yes.....I see. You have some thing to defend. Knowing that is your first step into the order of the Jensaarai." She left it at that leaving vonta in the room to meditate on the matter for a time.

The sea of the force was opening ever more to vonta. She felt the way of the jensaarai through the emphasise on defense. Defending at all costs.

She wished that she defend all of her friends but not even a jedi can do that al the time.

The old woman enters. "Now we have your first lesson. The art of Force cloak."

She turns and gestures to the stars through a skylight. It is night and the sky is a black ebony blaket of black and bright stars shining like jewels. " We Jensaarai protect our home from the ravages of the universe with this importan skill. No device made by hand can detect us with Force cloak up. Only the natural senses born of the force such as your own sight."

"Now breath in Feel as the force flows through you. Feel out the universe at large feel the power of the jensaarai using force cloak to defend our home from detection as I speak. Let the force hide you from the universe and give you the strength to sit in peace from the technological universe. "

Vonta is in full meditation now. The old leader feels as vonta falls into the force rythme of the force cloak around the planet. As she adds her own strength to it. Yes. This one was unique.

This one is the observer of The Jedi order. Vonta the Jedi Observer.

Two weeks is what it took vonta to master the force cloak technique. Faster then most of her defenders. Now they move on to another Tradition. The art of Armor making.

"Now my apprentice like the light saber the armor of the jensaarai is a device made with the force. We link to it to creat it. As you do not have the telekinnesis to weave it with we well focus on force melding with your own energys."

She held a spool of cortosis fibers. "This is your material the cortosis fibers native to out planet. Now you must also chose your guardian spirit animal. Who you well build your armor after and based on." She felt the padawan making a decision.

"A Eagle well fit me well master." SHe was a pilot and her spirit must always fly.

It would take her the better part of three weeks to master this art. With out telekinisis the going was hard. But she managed when it was all done with she had a armor of feathers. Her helmet had a Look of a eagles head with macro binoculars built in. She had the Idea of adding wings to it but she wanted to add those later with some more technological help.

Training had come to an end sooner the the old master had anticipated posible for one so young. Vonta was in her training opinion a full fledged defender now. With a power and battle experience to match any of her own defender.

"It has been a honor to teach you Observer Jedi." Vonta sat in her Xwing with r5 Behind her complaning that he wanted to get some where that his sensors would work properally again.

She shot a smile to her teacher. "Always master And if the Jensaarai need assistance inthe future do not hesistate to call on me. For I well come to defend."

At that the two part ways. The Sarrai-Karra is curious of what this one may do in the future. Only the force knows this.
