There are a few mistakes in that document. The storyline is pretty generic, when you come down to the basics. I'm sure more than one movie involves the hero's meeting some fellow, leaving the home town, and then winning against all evil in the end.
shadows collide with people
They aren't carbon copies by anymeans, but the image comparisons are quite interesting - where similar things happen in each, for example the tentacle monster thing. Obviously not meant to be taken as "FOTR stole the plot from SW!" (or vice versa)
