Siather stood aboard the mighty Disruptor-Class Super Star Destroyer Sadistic Mist watching his fleet form in front of him the Zealous Mist and Conquering Mist at the front with the Tempest Mist close behind. The ISD mk II Watchful Mist, ISD Valiant Mist, ISD Impulsive Mist, ISD mk II Challenger Mist following behind the three VSDs in a line in front of the
Executor class SSD Sinful Mist. They all brought their sheilds on and prepared their TIE squadrons for launch. The Mist fleet carried an impressive 79 squadrons of TIEs 20 of them TIE Bombers the rest a mix of TIE advanced.

"Bring all weapons online and wait for a response from TNA."

Shadow Jedi Master and Freelancer

Dakkon flexed his hands around the control panels aboard his personal flagship, the Death's Hand. He was back in his element, in command of his Fleets, the Abyss Fleet, and the infamous raiding fleet with its awesome fighters, Shadow Fleet and the TIE Shadows he had designed. And as much as he wished to battle, he realised that there was no chance of them losing, and that any struggle on the TNA's part would merely waste life.

Dakkon smiled as the report came in showing the Shadow Fleet enter the system. And along with them ALL the TIE Shadows in the Entire Empire, including those that were late from his blockade, all part of Abyss' complement.

Before him stood a combined fleet who's power was yet to be matched, and would likely never be. Now he merely had to await the surrender. Which would come. TNA was said to have excellent tactical minds. And no General would fight on now.

"Shadow units? Move into infiltration positions. Do not attack, but pick out targets. You are virtually invisiable and immensly powerful. This is a privellege shown only to our greatest pilots. Prove it to me."

Instantly he knew the mass of fighters would have broken up, moving into ambush positions around the planet and naval facilities. Were the TNA foolish, they would feel the bite of the Shadow.

"Yes.The  Archammer is withdrawing.We will be there shortly"

"Yes sir.We will keep them busy"

 -=Battle of Almania=-

The huge TRE armada was starting to make their way towards the planet.In a short time,they would enter orbit.

TNA would never let them get that far.

The TNA armada formed up and settled into a standard Class Three defense position,with the outermost cruisers hanging slightly back and away from the actual battle.The Lead ship,the  Freedom's Choice,slowed to allow the 7 ISDs to form up as a core and surround it.The Victory-class SDs formed around that to make another 'layer' of the core.The Xylx-xlass Battle cruisers,5 in all were given the 'point' position.Then came the Dreadnaughts.All 13 of them settled into the core positions along with the SDs.The foremost ships however were the Legacy-class Torpedo Attack Cruisers and the Alliance-class SDs.But the most obvious,were the Battle Dragons.They formed a huge screen,sheilding the others from the weapons of the enemy.It was quite a display.

"My lord, they do not stand down," General Dwight reported after getting the current relay uplink from the Rogue Imperial commscan. The emperor, draped in his Shadow Jedi robes and slowly running a hand over his jaw, he watched as the New Alliance ships pulled into position.

They are waiting for us to make the first move...

His eyes wearily balanced on the computer terminal at the seat of his throne, which beheld the entire range of ships within the mighty armada. Reaching out with the Force, he met with each of the commanders, linking them, forcing them into a top efficiency.

He had witnessed Emperor Palpatine and Lord Vader use similar techniques to maintane their fleets and work them at maximum efficiency, such was noticed at the Battle of Endor, where when both fell and died, the entire fleet was thrown into disarray.

Emperor Fearsons could feel the emotions of each of his personnel in his body...fear...excitement...rage...passion...romance. It was thrilling to think of the pleasure that his men had found in such an activity...in victory.

When weapons were charged at full, he then took a brief moment to peer around the bridge of the Disruptor. It was his flagship, and with thus was the fastest and strongest Star Destroyer in the fleet.

"Are the missiles ready?" he asked with no further delay, and he felt another ping of excitement bellow from the General as he reported.

"Yes sir they are," Dwight reported. The emperor then turned to look at him, smiling at his well set uniform, they had been drilling for this day for weeks.

"Fire the missiles."

The Sith fleet had literally destroyed the Archammer's super laser, and the crew of the Interdictor had felt a whole lot better with that prophecy. Their gravity wells were still charged, and they were slowly seeking refuge behind the mighty Sugarcult

Almania

Emperor Fearsons's navy formed up in perfect screening formations around the three flagships, the Death's Hand, the Sadistic Mist, and the Disruptor, defending the three leaders of the Rogue Empire, with their lives if necessary. With the enemy five kilometers away, there was no way they could fire their turbo lasers...yet.

It was the Redemption-Class Battle Cruisers and their remarkable speed that moved into position first. With their hundreds of missile launchers, they were a mighty foe for even the largest fleets.

Over the comm channel was heard the fateful call to the New Alliance. "Missiles away!"

Letting loose a fully volley of four hundred missiles, the Redemption then let loose with laser batteries as quick as it could. The bardanium packed missiles collided with the Battle Dragons first, causing explosive mushroom clouds on everything they hit.

Bardanium Missiles held the equivilent of nuclear warheads, but at a cheaper cost...and at a much smaller warhead. Further more, they did not have the catastrophic environmental problems that normally occured with nuclear explosions.

The battle dragons took the first wave of damage, followed by the Xiytls, and then finally the Imperial-Class Star Destroyers.

SSD Disruptor

Fearsons watch with optimistic delight as the explosions rocketed the enemy fleet, sending pieces of shrapnel throughout the whole of space, followed by continuous mushroom clouds. Cause and effect...the New Alliance was the cause, these missiles and the Rogue Empire were the effect.

"Turbo lasers firing on the Battle cruisers sir!" General Dwight reported, causing Fearsons to leap from his seat.

"Tell them to get out of there," he demanded, watching as one of them turned into a fiery combustion.

"They're trying sir, there's just too much of them."

The emperor watched sadly as another one, this one dubbed the Ravenblade scintillated and crisped into nothingess. But with such, the Rogue Imperial fleet was nearly whole again as the Redemptions moved back into line to prepare again for an onslaught.

"Is the door open?" Fearsons requested hurriedly.

"Negative sir," one of the helmsmen reported. "Door will be open in two minutes."

Ignoring the loss of some of the Battle Dragons,their comrades,other BDs simply took their place.

The commander of the TNA armada,Admiral Hawk,ordered the VSDs to open fire.The hundreds of missles took the enemy Redemptions by storm,obliterating one,the  Fury in the first wave.Hawk then ordered the Battle Dragons to open fire.They were armed to the teeth,with 50 turbolasers each.They hit anotherRedemption,the  Fiery Nova,but did not destroy it at first.It listed and started falling away from the battle.......

........and promptly slammed into the  Tempest Mist.

The Nova wad destroyed instantly.The Mist belched fire and exploded seconds later.

The New Alliance had just destroyed one of the most reknown ships in the Rogue Imperial fleet.

Hawk smiled.

He ordered the ISDs into action now.They came forward and the whole New Alliance 'core' shattered.The ships went every way,firing steadily.Then came the Xylxs,they suddenly dissapeared,cloaked.And as if out of the void of space,proton topedos and turbolasers came out to hit the  Disrupter.

Wave after wave of New Alliance fighters,thousands of them flew up from the surface and began pounding the big SSDs.

The emperor narrowed his eyes at the loss of the Tempest Mist, clenching his fists angrily, yet keeping the Force bubble focused around the Rogue Imperial ships. He noticed as the enemy line suddenly moved into position in fron of the Rogue Imperial armada.

Fighters were attempting to penetrate the surface of the Rogue Imperial screen, meeting as they went a wall of nearly invisible fighters...TIE Shadows. Between them and the constant laser batteries on the capital ships, the fighters were pushed back, there was no way they could...or would for that matter, get through such a strong force.

"Is the door open?" Fearsons demanded, tightening his fist so much that his knuckles turned white.

"Yes sir, door open!" Dwight yelled.

"FIRE!"

With the small opening of ships provided and the precise calculation provided by Rogue Imperial technicians and mathematicians, the super laser fired, vomitting a beautiful strand of pure green energy.

"It's a hit?"

It got closer, and closer until finally it smashed into the Freedom's Choice, sending chain reactions that, in the end, caused the ship's demise.

"Affirmative!"

The Sadistic Mist then took its round to take on shots at the New Alliance fleet. All four hundred and fifty turbo lasers were reeled out at the slow battle dragons that dared get close. Her mighty blasts mixed with a slow yet persistent match by the Death's Hand caused enough damage to wrought out and penetrate the shields and hull of the slower craft.

Fearsons was not through yet though.

"Imperial Star Destroyers, focus on screening out their Victories and Battle Dragons, Victories focus on fighters and Battle Dragons, Carracks and Lancers let's give them hell, hit them around the flanks, Redemptions...well...get back as far as you can, Dreadnaughts hit them with everything you've got. Ok let's push this line back and then we're easy sailing."

Kamons fleet jumped out of hyperspace. Almania loomed bright in front of his command ship. The Starfire, lead by its screen of 150 Miy'til fighters, was the leading ship in the task force that formed up with the TRE fleets. Although, this task force was his fleet. The other ships were escorted by 150 e-wings. All of the ships were on alert, but there was nothing to fear as of yet. He was of the lightside of the Force, but, since he was TRE's military subordinate, he had to participate in the battle. Kamon pressed the button on his command chair the opened up a channel with communications. Kamon was not an Imperial. He had the Lieutenant put him through to Fearsons command ship.
"Admiral Fearson's, I want to know why we are doing this before anything else happens. I must decide if it right for a Jedi to partake in this battle."

Admiral Det'aan on the bridge of the Sadistic Mist enraged at the loss of one of the Twins. He ordered the larger ISD's of the Mist fleet to move ahead of the smaller VSD mk IIs Conquering Mist and Zealous Mist he also ordered the Sinful Mist to open fire on all targets the Sadistic Mist was currently engaging. The smaller ships of the Mist fleet concentrated their fire on the Victory class Star Destroyers. The Admiral got a report that all TIE Defender and TIE Advanced Squadrons were ready to launch and that all the TIE pilots aboard the Conquering Mist and the Zealous Mist were looking for revenge. He ordered them all to launch, thousands of TIEs started to fill the space around the Mist fleet making it even more difficult for the TNA defense fighters to attack the massive SSDs. Siather spotted and aling VSD and ordered the Sadistic Mist's gunners to finish it off. The Sinful Mist also concentrated fire on the little ship. Energy rippled up and down the VSD until a massive explosion ripped the little ship into two drifting parts.

The losses were bloody, blood of both TRE and TNA spilled, but much worse was to come.

"Commodore? Inititalise our shadow beacon."

Without a word, the Commodore initialised a simple beacon with a distinct signal. And without warning, the 3 Menace class Star Destroyers who believed they were safe, were assaulted by Heavily armed and Invisable TIEs. Dakkon's Shadows had struck.

The Freedom's chance bore the brunt of the assault, scores of proton torpedo's from the Shadows hitting it from all directions. The shields buckled instantly from the assault, and the hard 'skin' of the ship was quickly pierced. With 15 seconds of the missles being launched from close range, the once mighty ship was striken, and dead. Not a man escaped.

The attack had happened so quickly that almost half of the Shadows hadn't launched their missles before it was destroyed. Thus the elite pilots of TRE switched onto auto target designation. Two major ships came up within the small area from which they couldn't react. The Reliant and the Freedom's Choice. Seconds following the destruction of the Freedoms Chance, 324 proton torpedos were heading towards the Flagship, easily enough to liquify it.

The second unit of TIE Shadows, based on Shadow Fleet, were slightly behind the main ambush force. The Shadow Hunters units, all 72 of them were in the middle of the TNA fleet, and were fortunate enough to identify one TNA ship which had been marked for destruction since the begining of the campeign, the ISD- Shadow. 144 torps were streaking in at the moment the Shadow beacon had been activated, such was the skill of the TRE elites. At that time, the 72 Shadows from the ISD Marksman, parallel to their Shadow Fleet counterparts, aquired and launched at their target, the ISD IceFire, another 144 torps streaking to destruction. Finally, the remaining 48 Shadows of the raiding fleet were launching at the weak interdictor class cruiser, misplaced among TNAs massed and disorganised formation. The 96 torps, more than able to ruin this weak target.

Dakkon smiled, he knew what havoc they were to create. Especially amongst the core of the TNA fleet. Their polished defensive positions meant nothing to a fleet of 'invisable' TIEs.

"Sir? Superlaser is charged. Who shall we target?"

"Wait Leiutenant. We wish to see if the Archammer will escape our interdictor ambush in Wayland. Then we shall have ourselves a target."

Fleet Admiral Blackblade knew it would not. Without a superlaser, infiltrated by Sith, and against much more powerful forces, it had more likely hood of turning into a frog than it did of turning up here...
