The Rebel Faction

Running a hand through his slicked scalp, the Rogue Squadron commander looked at the roses in his hand and let out a sudden sigh. He was nervous, there was no doubt about that. Rather than the fact that he was walking to a female's apartment, he was also going to ask her out to dinner, and then maybe for a quick flight sim.

After the first moment Raven had entered the Rogue Squadron flight sims, he had felt a sudden attraction to her, and with such, he was sure he would have to act on them. Afterall, Taly had shot herself over it all...didn't it mean something? Wouldn't it mean there was something going between the two if he had felt this strongly?

Walking up the stairs and past the turbolift of the apartment complex, he saw her door finally and gulped down his nervousness.

C'mon Daren, you've done this a hundred times before, this shouldn't be an issue man! Just be calm, be smoothe, who cares if she's a Jedi?

Rapping his knuckles against her apartment door, he waited for her answer. All the while a single bead of sweat beat against his brow and he swallowed once again.

Please don't turn me down.

ooc: Too bad this is closed and some of it's taking part on an sd where someone's gonna try and kill herself over feelings that could be changed. If only there was a way to get Tec in there somewhere....

Daren gulped and hesitated for a second as he smelled the wonderful perfume that came from another's house, especially that of a beautiful female's. His eyes dashed around and he surpressed a chuckle at the mess.

She's letting me in??

He took a step in, gazing around the room and smiling at her welcoming. Daren then inhaled deeply and found his way further in.

The commander took a quick glance at her, and formed an unexerted smile on his lips, offering her the roses.

"I um, I got these for you on the way here," he said, trying to maintane that smile and not appear too nervous.

Raven never really seen this color of roses before. Red?

"Back home, all of these would've all been violet. Not a single rose on Naboo is red." Raven murmured, chuckling at the thought.

And his nervousness was obvious, and she chuckled again.

"Might as well sit down. You look as though you're about to tople over." Raven grinned," Besides, these need to be put in something."

Turning towards a small kitchen, with the interrior not seen from the main room, Raven busied herself in locating a vase to put them in, when she heard a loud noise.

QUACK!

Raven quickly returned to the room, to see him holding up the sourse of the noise: one of a collection of somewhere about two-hundred rubber duckies, found from varying locations in the galaxy. And, he just found her Jedi Master Obi " Quack" Kenobi duckie, currently worth about 200 credits.

"Hey, you found it. Been wondering where that one went to." Raven giggled.

Atalya twists her neck from side to side, a quiet cracking noice coming from her spine. She turns around slightly as her R2 unit settles into its position and the loading mechanism disengages. Atalya then grasps the ladder and pushes it aside and away from her X-Wing

Suddenly, a flight officer rushes to the side of Atalya's craft. He stares up at the Lieutenant in confusion, looking back at the men and women picking themselves up off the deck momentarily before returning his attention to the young pilot of Rogue Squardon.

"Lientenant?! What do you think you are doing?! You're not authorized for flight at this time! Get out of that X-Wing now, before I call security!"

Atalya rolls her eyes, knowing that security is doubtlessly already on its way. In a flash of movement, she wips the blaster from the holster on her thigh and points it at the flight officer.

"Sorry."

The blaster erupts loudly, the blue stunning energy beam striking the officer in the chest, sending him toppling backwards, unhurt, but unconsciouss. Atalya returns the weapon to its holster and pulls down the cover to her cockpit.

"Alright R2. Fire up the engines. Let's end this."

As Atalya's quad engines flare into life, an alarm begins to scream through the star destroyer, loud, and booming.

"Security to the main fighter bay immediately! Apprehend and arrest Lieutenant Pelyan!"
