So, I was talking with Irtarded just now about how the Halo movie got scrapped and he was glad to hear about it. And it lead us to discuss other video game movies which ultimately failed, IE Super Mario Bros, Doom, Bloodrayne.

Pokemon? At least the first and second ones. Those weren't too bad. After that they were just shit. And yes, Pokemon was based on a video game because it was an extension of the anime/tv show that was based on the video game.
Other than that, I don't know. Maybe Final Fantasy, those are usually pretty good.

I've never heard anything official about there being a WoW movie, I've heard rumors that there was one in the works but didn't know it was official. A WoW movie has the potential to be very good, but it could just as easily be dreadful.

They should simply keep it to a stereotypical grindfest, where some evil entity is holding the world for ransom, the heroes need to fight through packs of Horde ala 300 styles, and win the day while showing some sweet Night Elf chicka.

See I think it would be better if they busted out with more heroes, like Arthas and shit like that. But also emphasizing the different classes of WoW like Magi and what not. They'd have to throw in some bad ass type boss too that had to be killed, I think a fight through Molten Core would probably make a pretty amazing movie.

While keeping it 300 styles. That's the important part, as the slow-motion blood splatter of violence is very loved now.
